3rd Suspect In Brooke Bennett Case: Raoul Domingo, Sex Ring Predator

Brooke Bennett Case - A third suspect has been identified in the case of Brooke Bennett - Raoul Domingo, who lured another minor girl into sexual relationships. However, according to the press conference held at 10 am EST, the affidavit indicates Raoul may just be a name Brooke's uncle Michael Jacques used in emails at his workplace or home.

Death penalty possible in Vermont sex-kidnap

Prosecutors say the Vermont man charged with kidnapping his 12-year-old niece - who was found dead near his home - could face the death penalty.

State and federal prosecutors spoke in Burlington today as 42-year-old Michael Jacques (JAYKS) was formally charged with kidnapping Brooke Bennett. Bennett was missing for a week before her body was found yesterday in Randolph.

This is so terrible, poor Brooke! Rest in peace sweetheart. She looks such a lovely girl.

It's just been awful, reading all these articles, especially where her friend said that she had seemed like she wanted to get away. It seems like she must have known what was going to be happening. If only the poor girl had told someone, she must have been so frightened

I hope her evil uncle does get the death penalty. What makes me so angry is that this could probably have been prevented if he had been locked up the first time! When will they learn that people who commit this type of crime don't just stop, they do it again when they have the opportunity.

I think his family should have been told that he was on the sex offenders' register, especially as he was spending time with Brooke and other children. As soon as I read the first article I noticed the closeness of the relationship. He had free rein to really just do what he wanted and now Brooke is not here because he has been allowed that freedom.

Sorry to rant, I'm just so angry reading this.

Funeral Set for Brooke Bennett

Brooke Bennett, the 12-year-old girl whose body was discovered one week after she was reported missing, will be laid to rest on Wednesday, July 9, at the Randolph Union High School.

Bennett would have turned 13 on July 12.

Sounds like Brooke Bennett's disappearance was not a spur of the moment action!! Looks like the plan to kidnap Brook had been in place since at least May 28th 2008 (a whole month before she went missing).

I have just heard that Bennett's uncle has children. One, a little girl read at Brooke's funeral and shows how unbeleiveably horrible and far reaching all this is.
