MISSING SIMON JAMES "PLEASE HELP" Call HOME
We last saw our son Simon James Everitt age 17years on Tuesday 3rd June 2008, His mother spoke to him on the phone on Friday 6th June, But since then we have no contact with him.
He has been reported as a missing person as from Friday the 13th June as no one had seen or heard from him from the 6th June.
This message goes to Simon or anyone who may know his whereabouts or has seen him since the 6th June.
He was last seen in the Great Yarmouth area so please people in the Norfolk area be extra vigilent when your out and about.
Please reply to the email connected to this wiki or ring your local police of even 999 if you see or hear anything about his whereabouts.
We are worried that something may have happened and need to speak to him to make sure he is ok.
If you do not wish to be named thats fine but this is our missing SON and we would ask that only genuine sightings be notified as we need to find him.
He has a family that love and miss him, his younger siblings don't understand so the sooner we can find him the easier it will be for all of us, please help if you can.
The pictures are recent upto about 1 month and as you see he is a happy chap with lots of life and energy, he can be a sweet talker as well so easy to get on with.

I hope they will find out soon what has happened to him...he could be still allive, even though the police thinks he is not....this is really terrible and I am so sorry for him and his poor family they must be so worried. :cry:

A 17 year old Norfolk boy died after being tied to a tree, made to drink petrol and then set on fire.

Post-mortem tests showed that Simon Everitt, of Great Yarmouth, died as a result of inhaling combustable fluid.

Three people have been charged with his murder, Jimi Lee Stewart,24, Johnathan Clarke,19, and Marie Chandler,40, are due at Norwich crown court on July 14.

Sexual jealousy was murder motive

Three people were charged with Simon Everitt's murder and Norwich Crown Court was told his death had centred on "sexual jealousies".

The teenager had been involved in a relationship with 19-year-old Fiona Statham.

But so had two of his killers; 20-year-old Jonathan Clarke from Telford, Shropshire, who was 19 at the time of the murder, and 25-year-old Jimi-Lee Stewart from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

Both men told the court they "hated" their victim.

Lured to his death

The third involved in the murder was 40-year-old Maria Chandler from Great Yarmouth.

She was said to have been the best friend of Ms Statham, but disliked how Simon Everitt had treated her.

But all three were convicted of the horrific killing - Clarke and Chandler by a majority verdict, Stewart unanimously. All had denied murder. Stewart is understood to have a criminal record for arson and petty crimes going back to his teens.

All will now receive mandatory life sentences, although minimum terms will be set next month when they are sentenced after psychological reports have been compiled.

Detective Chief Inspector Steve Strong, of Norfolk Police, said: 'This is the worst murder case that Norfolk Police have had to deal with.

The idea for the murder came from the spoof horror film Severance, which Clarke had watched and remarked, ‘Wouldn’t it be wicked if you could actually do that to someone in real life?’, Norwich Crown Court was told.

Mr Justice Calvert-Smith told Clarke that he would remain in prison for at least 27 years before being considered for parole, Stewart for 22 years and Chandler for 17 years.
