Terri wants money from Kaine for moving costs

In the ongoing saga surrounding the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman, the boy's stepmother is now wanting money from her estranged husband, Kaine Horman, to move out of the family home.

Kaine was asked to cough up the cash Tuesday afternoon as attorneys for both parties appeared before a judge to schedule future hearings on custody, eviction and contempt of court issues.

Kaine's attorney, Laura Rackner, said her client is not willing to hand over money to Terri.

"He would like some cooperation from her first," she said. "He would like to know where his son is."

Rackner said Terri still refuses to talk and she is encouraging anyone who has had communications with her to come forward.

Meanwhile, Terri's attorney, Stephen Houze, did not give any information to the media on Tuesday, saying it would be unethical to comment on any aspects of his client's case.

The two sides will be back in court next week for a hearing on the eviction and custody case filed by Kaine.

Bob Briede, owner of Xtreme Edge Fitness Center, said Terri Horman approached a worker at the club's child care center. Court documents accuse her of asking to be notified when Kaine Horman came into the gym with the couple's daughter.

Briede said he feared for Kiara, who is in the custody of her father, and alerted authorities about the incident.

"Her behavior was definitely suspicious and I felt like it was justified to make that phone call to the authorities to make them aware her behavior was odd," Briede said.

Terri Horman was banned from the club, Briede said.

Attorney Bruce McCain is uniquely qualified to comment on the increasingly bizarre Kyron Horman case, and he offered Fox 12 a good theory about what's happening behind the scenes earlier this week.

McCain believes Kaine Horman's divorce attorney is working with investigators to build a criminal case against his estranged wife Terri. As McCain sees it, that's why Kaine accused Terri of revealing a court-sealed restraining order to a new boyfriend — to help investigators pressure her into revealing more about the whereabouts of Kaine’s son, who disappeared from Skyline School on June 4.

"This is just a chess match and a war of wills between the prosecutor and investigators on one hand and Terri Horman and her defense lawyer on the other," McCain told the Beaverton television station — the Portland Tribune’s news partner — on Monday.

Police ask media for footage of interviews with potential witnesses in Kyron Horman case

Authorities are asking media to give them copies of any video interviews with students, parents or others who said they saw Kyron Horman after 8:45 a.m. on June 4.

Horman disappeared that day from Skyline School in rural northwest Multnomah County.

In addition to the footage, the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is asking for contact information for those who were interviewed.

The request is so that investigators can make sure they have "dotted every i and crossed every t," said Travis Gullberg, a sheriff's office spokesman.

"There's nothing new," Gullberg said. "There's nothing to read into this."

Kyron Horman's dad tries to push stepmom out of house‎

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The attorney for Kaine Horman was pushing to force his estranged wife, Terri Moulton Horman to move out of their home as soon as possible.

Kaine believes his missing son, Kyron is still alive and wants him to have a safe home to return to.

Sources have told KGW that a judge could order Terri to move out of the home in Northwest Portland as soon as Thursday. Initially, a hearing was set for July 22 on that matter, but sources told KGW that date would likely be moved up to July 15 or 16.
