Kevin Xiong is 5'6', 110 lbs and was last seen wearing a black and white baseball hat, white and black polo and white shorts. He is driving a black 2002 BMW Mini Cooper, with Oregon plates 993 DKP.

(METZGER, Ore.) - Police are on the lookout for a missing 17-year old from Metzger who left a suicide note behind. Kevin Xiong has been missing since 3:30 PM Saturday afternoon. Sgt. Vance Stimler with the Washington County Sheriff's Office says deputies were dispatched to the 104 block of SW 80th Ave in Metzger, near Tigard, Saturday at 8:00 PM.

Deputies arriving at the residence made contact with Kevin Xiong's parents who told them Kevin has been depressed lately over the recent loss of his sister who recently took her own life, Stimler said.

"They last saw Kevin Saturday afternoon at 3:30 PM. Kevin left a suicide note at his parent's house before he left. He is not answering his cell phone, and is believed to have no money. This is the first time Kevin has left home and not returned or answered his cell phone. He has no history of drug or alcohol abuse."

The Washington County Sheriff's Office would like you to call 911 if you locate Kevin Xiong or his car.

Washington County Sheriff

On 10/19/08, at 4:00am, Washington County Deputies located Kevin Xiong. Through the use of cell phone technology, Sheriff's Deputies located Kevin Xiong in Merced California. He was located at his grandparent's house in Merced. Merced police department made contact with Kevin and he has since been in contact with his parents here in Oregon.

Kevin is in good health and with the permission of his parents, will stay with his grandparents until arrangements are made for his trip home.
