I have just come in from a morning out and this was on the TV!!!

I have just seen the photos of the mother and Rebecca on Sky News and thought I recogonise those!!

The father had just been extradited back to the UK a couple of days ago on child sex abuse charges!!!

He was in court in Carlisle on 13 child sex offence charges. He has been remanded in custody for a further 2 weeks until next court appearence!!

He is a known physcic / medium and made his debut on TV's Most Haunted in 2007 shortly before he left the country!!!

It is strange that her little brother Daniel wasn't listed by Missing Kids too!!!

She was to be held in prison without bail and faces a 15 to 20 year jail sentence.

The British mother accused of killing her two young children in a Spanish resort spent the night beside their dead bodies before alerting police, it has emerged.

Lianne Angela Smith suffocated Rebecca, five, and 11-month-old Daniel by putting a plastic bag over their heads, then attempted to kill herself using the same method, police sources have claimed.

She reportedly left a suicide note in which she wrote: “I hope you can forgive me”.

Mother 'to decide over bodies'‎

A mother who admitted suffocating her two children with a plastic bag in a Spanish hotel room is expected to decide whether their bodies should be repatriated.

Rebecca, five, and her 11-month-old brother Daniel were found dead at the Hotel Miramar in Lloret de Mar, on the Costa Brava, on Tuesday.

British consular staff are due to visit their mother, Lianne Smith, in jail in the coming days to talk to her about whether she wants their bodies to be flown home or buried in Spain.

'Killer' mother to decide on fate of bodies‎

British consular staff are due to visit Lianne Smith in jail in the coming days to talk to her about whether she wants the bodies of Rebecca, 5, and 11-month-old Daniel to be flown home or buried in Spain.

If they are brought back to the UK it is expected that a coroner here will open inquests into their deaths.

The fate of the children’s bodies is a difficult one because both parents are in custody on serious charges of offences against minors and no other family members have yet come forward to request a repatriation.

Smith has been refusing food and water and insists that she wants to die rather than face trial for the murders of her children.

British mother accused of killing children in Spain 'fled police hours after giving birth'
The British mother charged with killing her two children in a Spanish hotel had fled from police within hours of giving birth to her youngest son, it has emerged.

Spanish authorities were alerted to the possible whereabouts of Lianne Smith and her fugitive partner Martin Smith when their son, Daniel, was born in a Barcelona hospital, last June.

The couple packed up the apartment where they had been living in the outskirts of the city and moved to a new address the day of her discharge from hospital, neighbours said.

Just days later Spanish police began a series of enquiries to locate the family at the run-down apartment block in the Horta district but drew a blank because they had left no forwarding address.

It took a further 11 months to trace them and on May 7 Spanish police finally arrested Mr Smith, 45, who was wanted on child sex charges in Britain, in a flat they had rented in another district of the Catalan capital.
