That's correct Vovvan.
They then become known sex offenders and police use the register for future reference. There has been lots of lobbying here to make public those on the Register.

It´s tough, it doesn´t sound promising for Engla.

The public are allowed to search, there has been over 200 people involved which is no surprise either as it is a small community.

They have searched the area thoroughly and has blown of the search as they haven´t found anything. They are pretty convinced she isn´t in that area. The police are going to search areas nearby too but without the public helping out.

The man they have arrested is denying any involvment in her disappearance, he has been arrested for rape attempts against young girls before. The police have searched his apartment and are trying to find any evidence against him.

I feel they think there is something sinister behind this but if Engla is kept inside she can still be alive.

They haven´t said anything about looking elsewhere yet Pam. I will keep looking for news.

Apparently a 12 year old girl was followed by a red car while she was on her way home by bicycle three days before Engla disappeared. This girl is living not very far from Engla.

The man they have arrested for questioning is driving a red car.

Thanks V. Was just wondering if posters were distributed at any transport centres like bus, train, airports etc. but looks like they are concentrating on smaller search area. Hope news soon, can imagine it must be awful for family. We should set up a candle for her.
