when will these stupid people ever learn ? 18 yrs old and meets some unknown off the Internet. oh please she was your daughter, all her trust was in her mother.
They were going to teach her some discipline in a cold bath!!! you know if she was to be subject to a life time of this evil couple, I guess she is in a better place. so, so sad.

So, the mother because of fear threw the body of her baby to a storage bin. OK! and then what? she decides to live the rest of her life with ut having any guilt about this? And she would continue her new life with her new husband and of course a new baby, that would make the perfect family! I really can't understand some things! I will never, ever understand them and I am not intedend to do ever!!
Both were ba****ds! (I am sorry for the language).

I am absolutely sickened by this. What did that little baby do to deserve the life and death she had?? The one person that was meant to love and protect her - I just don't know what to say.

Note: Although confirmations that Baby Grace were very likely to be Riley Ann Sawyers, DNA results were yet to come in.These now confirm her identity. RIP little one.

I'm with you tiger...I can't read any more either. It is so heartbreaking. But, I can tell you the article that I can't wait to read...the parents got the death penalty for the abuse and murder of this precious child. I can't wait to read that one. "Eye for an eye." Justice for Riley Ann!!!

Here is the official site of Baby Grace. It has a forum also, and from what I read, there is also Riley Ann's grandmother that posts. Her nickname is Sherylann, and I read one of her comments which is a little shocking. There are many threads in this site all dedicated to the little angel.

I still find it difficult to believe that Kim just forgot how to call 911. In March when she and my son had an altercation and he grabbed her (Kim) she called 911 in 30 seconds or less, but this monster beats your child and you stand by and do nothing??? I don't know what happened to her. And I don't believe this was the first time RZ laid a hand on Riley. I just wish that when that first time happened that she would have called and I would have begged, borrowed, steal the money to get her and the baby back to Ohio. That is what torments me everyday. That she did nothing to help her daughter.

Thank You To All On This Site

First I want to say that I am very touched by your post dcampbell. I had to stop reading several times to wipe my eyes. Everyone here has been so wonderful to me which is why I keep coming back here.
I assure you that Riley will not be alone on her travel back to me. Texas Equusearch is paying for two GCSD to escort her back to Ohio.
The people in Texas have been wonderful, as have people from all over the world. (I recieved condolences from South Africa and Kuwait)
I wish that I could meet and give each and everyone a hug, I feel as though I have an extended family out there.

I am awaiting the results of the grand jury tomorrow. The trial could take some time before it starts and I am not sure how much of it I want to be present for.
I do not want to hear how it happened. That is just to painful to think about. And I certainly do not want to see the autopsy photos. I want to remember her smiling and blowing bubbles on my back patio.
I definately want to be present for sentencing, and to make a victims speech if I am allowed.
Right now I am focused on getting her home. Well it is late and I had better try to get some sleep.

GALVESTON, Texas (AP) -- A jury has convicted a mother of capital murder in the fatal beating of her 2-year-old daughter -- dubbed "Baby Grace" when her unidentified remains were found in a container in Galveston Bay.

Jurors deliberated less than two hours Monday before finding Kimberly Trenor guilty. She receives an automatic life prison sentence. Prosecutors did not seek the death penalty.

Trenor and her husband, Royce Clyde Zeigler II, were accused of killing Riley Ann Sawyers while trying to discipline the girl. Zeigler's capital murder trial is scheduled later.

The toddler's remains were found in Galveston Bay in October 2007. Relatives in Ohio saw news reports about the girl and identified her.
