Mothers of missing children come together as there is still no news of Marta from Sevilla
Audrey Fitzpatrick, mother of missing 15 year old Amy, travels to the Canary Islands to join forces with the mothers of two other missing children.
Three of the mothers whose children have disappeared came together at Vecindario on Gran Canaria yesterday to hand out some 4,000 posters of their missing loved ones.
The mothers of Sara Morales and Yeremi Vargas, who both disappeared from Gran Canaria in 2006 and 2007, were joined by the mother of Amy Fitzpatrick, the Irish 15 year old who vanished from Mijas in Málaga on New Year’s Day last year.
Nieves Hernández, Ithaisa Suárez and Audrey Fitzpatrick say they want to create a new platform so that their children are not forgotten. The mother of Sara admitted that Christmas had been a difficult time for her, and she had been depressed of late, but that joining with the other mothers was a source of strength for her. All three women are convinced their children are still alive.
Meanwhile there is still no news about Marta del Castillo who vanished from Sevilla on Saturday night. One of her friends is coordinating the search on internet social network sites, such as Tuenti. Using the net news of her disappearance will reach thousands of other youngsters across the country.
The only clue in the disappearance of the 17 year old comes from a neighbour who says he heard a shout at the time that Marta is thought to have disappeared.

Re: YEREMI VARGAS 7 - Vecindario (Gran Canaria) - 10/03/07
Hi Smokie. I will help translating this piece bit by bit.It is a very long piece but I will find out the important bits concerning Yeremi and what it is like for the investigative teams & families of the Disappeared.
WARNING: THIS ARTICLE IS VERY DISTURBING AT TIMES TO READ. PLEASE NOTE THIS AS I FOUND IT AN EXTREMELY HARD TASK TO TRANSLATE. VERY MOVING PIECE.
" Neither alive nor Dead"
Every year 25,000 people disappear in Spain. 99% turn up. The rest? Cristina, Ana Eva,Yeremi & Marta, who disappeared from her home 2 weeks ago. These are most complicated cases that the Police encounter. The disappeared cases are called "worrying". They investigate these cases and with the knowledge the families live deaths in life.
This is not a film. For Inspector Isabel V.J.,a hardened woman, with bleached blonde hair & thin, working in the Homicide Brigade for 20 years, it is a scenario where " I have seen all the bodies, all the blood, all the torture". She prefers to forget a case of a young girl in a hotel, who remains unidentified in an anonymous city. The Inspector is single, an insomniac, smokes cigarette after cigarette as she recounts the scene of a room full of photos of the deceased lady in the family home and the Mother screaming through the walls in disbelief " Where are you!" "What have they done with you!"
It is not a film. The Inspector forms part of the Group for the Disappeared under the umbrella group specializing in Delinquency & Violence. (UDEV). This Elite Police Force work amongst the population hoping one day to smoke out the truth of what happened to the disappeared. Her work is to give to others. Living or Dead. To find out information of what happened. To sort out all the hypotheses, statistics, efforts and heart-rendering details. To reconstruct the life of someone that nobody knows what happened to them.
" It is much more difficult to investigate a disappearance over a murder. It never leaves your mind. A disappearance is all or nothing. One must imagine themselves on a desert island. Complete emptiness. We aren't used to this. You travel on the Metro and it doesn't stop coming back to you " Where could you be?", Why would someone take you? Did something happen to you?". It eats at your head. You never switch off.You must know everything about them. You must know more than their family even.Their intimate secrets. You must link all the pieces.Of course at times I have my suspicions. Those are often more difficult to probe than others.A disappeared investigation never goes away, even when we get on with our lives on a daily basis. The case continues to remain open. There comes a time though & I have to tell myself " Relax !"
Jose Suarez goes out every morning on his quad bike amongst the mountains that surround Vecindario, a town of 10,000 inhabitants, where he has lived for 25 years in Gran Canaria. Circling hundreds of times the area, taking note of abandoned houses, questioning anything out of the ordinary, abandoned farmsteads. He never stops. One day and another and another. He intends to uncover all of the detail he can. There is something determined in his searches. He is 60 years of age now.He is the strong type. He works as a carpenter in a plant of 150 workers. He tells me that he has no enemies. He is the Grandfather of Yeremi Vargas, a 7 yr old boy who disappeared on 10 March 2007.Pepe speaks of him with frailty in his voice, it is like his body is an empty carcass. He has the lost look. He looks at his watch like I am keeping him.He kisses an old photo he has of his Grandson with tears in his eyes. " They have stolen life from us but I am going to find Yeremi. He has to be nearby. We don't know how he will come back. I'm going to find him. If it's the last thing I do."

I'm up in the middle of the night and for some reason the first case that entered my mind is Yeremi's one. Please re-focus helping him to be found. Perhaps if you know of someone travelling to the Canaries, you can ask for their help.
Here is a video reminding us what he was like with his family and the efforts residents of Gran Canaria have made to help find him:

Vila Nova de Cerveira
German Pedophile Suspect lived in Cerveira
Since 2003, German police have suspected a German pedophile of having escaped to Portugal but more specifically to the area of Vila Nova de Cerveira.
The fugitive, a musician of 59 years, is suspected to have been involved in 116 cases of sexual abuses against minors and being the ring leader of a sect in Braveira that covered for the sexual abuses against minors. The sect was allegedly operating from Cerveira all these years but German authorities now suspect the operation has been operating in Tui, Spain.
The German authorities consider the suspect a very dangerous individual. Ulrich Schulz is one known musician German who also uses fake names such as Oliver Shanti and Oliver Serano-Alve. He measures 1,86 meters and weighs about 150 kilos.
In available photographs to the police, the suspect is described as having a long beard, long hair and blue-dark eyes.
The German police have asked for help from all European countries, in the scope of the Europol. German authorities also still offer, in exchange for information on the suspect whereabouts, three thousand euros. For more details, please consult the following site:

I guess then this is the same guy.

Scots Pair Probed Over Missing Boy
TWO paedophile murder suspects are being investigated over the disappearance of a boy on the island of Gran Canaria. Yeremi Vargas, seven, vanished in March from Vecinardio – where child sex abusers Charles O’Neill, 44, and William Lauchlan, 30, have set up home. After the Sunday Mail revealed the pair had moved into the town, police have focused the Yeremi inquiry on them.
The fiends were once charged with murdering a woman due to give evidence against them. O’Neill and Lauchlan, who have both served jail sentences in Scotland for prolonged abuse of young boys, run a cleaning business, Rainbow Cleaning Services, in Gran Canaria. Our story exposed how unsuspecting parents were letting the perverts into their holiday homes.

I wonder if they were connected in anyway to the Ulrich Shultz guy? As all three have been considered for the situation regarding Yeremi - this thread is full of very interesting reports.

The skull found in Gran Canaria does not belong to Yeremi Vargas
According to initial investigations, the skull could correspond to a woman between 40 and 50 who "brings over ten years dead"
A GOOGLE TRANSLATION
The skull found Sunday in the playground of the Canary, Santa Lucía de Tirajana (Gran Canaria), could correspond to a woman between 40 and 50 who "has more than 10 years late", as reported by sources close to research that dismiss his relationship with the child's disappearance in 2007 Yeremi Vargas Neighborhood Area In the same municipality.
The same sources indicate that, as the first argument, the skull belongs to a middle-aged woman "for the teeth, skull size and other characteristics." Although forensic tests will determine their identity.
The skull was found yesterday by a young man of 19 years among the 19. 30 and 20. 00 hours during the celebrations in the town and immediately alerted the Guardia Civil, who cordoned off the area to ascertain the facts and removed the remains.
However, researchers must practice the relevant tests to confirm whether the skull found corresponds to a human body and if, as appears by size, corresponds to a middle-aged person.

Cops pass on pervert files in attempt to discover fate of missing boy
POLICE who snared a pair of murderous sex predators in Scotland have passed on vital information in the search for a missing boy.
A file on Charles O'Neill and William Lauchlan's activities and movements has been sent to detectives hunting for seven-year-old Yeremi Vargas, who disappeared in 2007 on the holiday island of Gran Canaria.
Twisted lovers O'Neill and Lauchlan were jailed for life last June for murdering a woman 14 years ago when she threatened to expose their abuse of a young boy at their flat in Largs, Ayrshire.
They were also convicted of child sex abuse and grooming a boy for sex.
After the 1997 murder, they went on to be jailed for a string of sex abuse charges. Soon after their early release, they moved to Gran Canaria, where they ran a cleaning company near Yeremi's home.
The boy's mum Ithaisa has previously spoken of her belief that they were involved in his disappearance and pleaded for them to confess.
Yesterday, a Central Scotland police source confirmed that full reports on O'Neill, 48, who is serving a minimum term of 30 years, and Lauchlan, 34, sentenced to a minimum of 26, had been sent to Spanish officers.
The source said: "The feeling among officers involved in their arrest is that the Spanish should have a major inquiry team focusing on them.

There has been a decision to overhaul cases on the island of Tenerife. This happened as a result of a very sinister incident at a cemetery on the island. 5 graves were ransacked. Investigations are ongoing but all avenues have to be looked in to, although the Police are saying no evidence anything satanic took place essentially but can't rule anything out. The Police have decided to re-open Marisa Hernandez rape and murder case, aswell as look at Yeremi Vargas witness statements in full again.
