Cape Coral father fails to return child to mother‎

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Cape Coral man who didn’t return his 8-year-old son to the child’s mother Sunday.

Detectives say Kennith Stephan Jr., 48, was supposed to return his son, Alexander, to the boy’s mother Sunday as determined by their court-ordered custody agreement.

Stephan Jr. removed his belongings from his Cape Coral residence, and he and the boy haven’t been since since.

Stephan Jr. may be driving an older model white Chevrolet or Dodge van bearing Texas plates, as well as New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox stickers.

Authorities seeking father in abduction of child in Cape Coral‎

Law enforcement throughout the state are searching for Kennith Stephan Jr., 48, who failed to return his eight-year-old son to the child’s mother on Sunday, as determined by their court ordered custody agreement, a media release said.

Detectives say their whereabouts are currently unknown and Stephen removed his belongings from his residence in Cape Coral, the release said. Stephan may be driving an older model white Chevrolet or Dodge van bearing Texas plates, with New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox stickers on it.
