Maurice also uses the name Marty.

Georgia investigators have now joined the search for a missing infant from Indiana. Police said the boy's non-custodial father took him two days before Christmas, and now the child's family believes they could be in Atlanta.

The family says 8-month-old Jacob Young is with his father, Maurice. Relatives said they fear the pair may be somewhere in Atlanta after three weeks of running city to city with very little money and sleeping in homeless shelters.

"It's been a nightmare and I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I can't wait for him to be home," said the child's mother Sandy Young. "We're just praying that it goes fast, fast, fast."

"He phoned her a couple times that day, and basically told her, 'You almost found me, but you won't find me again' and that was the last she heard from him," said Jeff Lucas, the child's uncle.

Missing Baby Found In Nashville‎

A missing Indiana baby was found in Nashville with his father Friday night.

Nine-month-old Jacob Young had been missing since December.

He was found at the Stadium Inn motel with his father, Maurice Young, at around 8 p.m.

Police said the two had been at the hotel for at least two weeks.

According to a press release from the Indianapolis Police Department, the Department of Children Services will hold the child until his mother arrives in Nashville.

Missing Baby Found‎

A missing baby was found in Nashville. The trouble started right before Christmas, when Jacob Young's mother reported him missing in Indianapolis.

She says the child's father, Maurice took him to run errands but never came back. Friday night, the two were discovered at the Stadium Inn near downtown.

The child was given to Nashville police and is now back with his mother. Jacob's mom says she asked Maurice for a divorce and he took off.

As of Saturday night, the father was not charged with any crime.
