Knox County, Ohio, Triple Murder Case Closed‎

Last week, residents of Knox County, Ohio, found closure to the devastating triple-murder that took the lives of Stephanie Sprang, Kody Maynard and his mother Tina Herrmann in November. Matthew Hoffman was sentenced to three life sentences without the possibility of parole when he pleaded guilty to all charges in the 10-count indictment issued by the Knox County Grand Jury on Monday, Jan. 3.

Several Knox County residents gave their thoughts on the conclusion of this case, the plea deal that was arranged and how life is returning to normal.

Matthew Hoffman was indicted on 10 counts, including three counts of aggravated murder, in the November deaths of a woman, her son and her friend, as well as the kidnapping of a 13-year-old girl.

3 counts of aggravated murder
3 counts of abuse of a corpse
1 count of aggravated burglary
1 count of kidnap
1 count of rape
1 count of tampering with evidence

Sentence: Matthew Hoffman pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life without parole.
