Pam, the police had been looking for a VW Passat all this time, it was a hot lead from the beginning. There have been road blocks, and police cars patrolling all over the place for months looking for the correct car. The owner of the car was arrested yesterday due to him trying to sell this car in the Netherlands ! ( This is according to a police officer saying this on the news on TV here ).
The man has admitted to the crime and told the police where to find the body, which they have now done.

The man then decided he could not possibly let the boy go free, and killed him. He ditched the body at the place of the crime, which is approximately 12 kilometers from where he picked Mirco up. After the murder, the man drove back home to Schwalmtal, but got rid of Mirco´s clothing one by one on his way. According to the investigation, Mirco was in the hands of his "murderer" approx. 3 hours.
