Hoping for a good outcome here although news of scaling back is worrying in less than one month. Perhaps it is because the Police feel answers are closer to home and not resources are dwindling.. I sure hope he is ok.

Kyron Horman's stepmother served with documents for restraining order, divorce

Kyron Horman's stepmother was served with a restraining order and a petition for dissolution of marriage about 6 p.m. Monday, a source confirmed.

The legal papers came as a complete surprise to Terri Moulton Horman, the source said.

Approached earlier in the day at her home in Northwest Portland, she had denied a report by KPTV 12/Fox TV news that her husband, Kaine Horman, and 18-month-old daughter, Kiara, had moved out.

"Everything's good," she said, giving a thumbs up. "We heard that rumor. It's just a rumor that needs to be squelched. Everything's fine."

However, the source said Kyron's father and sister indeed had left.

We have been fully briefed by law enforcement on the on-going criminal investigation. We are in complete support of that investigation. We have asked the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office to facilitate releasing this statement for us due to their access to the media/flash news.

We understand that we have free access to the media but are limiting statements to the media to keep the integrity of the investigation intact.

Any actions taken by the investigation, or by us, are based on the best interests of Kyron and Kiara and comply with the law. Beyond this, we have no comment on the matter.

Kyron's father files for divorce, gets restraining order‎

The father of missing Skyline School second-grader Kyron Horman has filed for divorce from his wife Terri Moulton Horman and was granted a restraining order against her, a source confirmed to KATU News Monday night.

The source also confirmed that Kaine Horman has moved out of the family’s house.

The source said the restraining order is a physical restraining order that is meant to protect the couple’s 18-month-old daughter, Kiara.

Judge Seals Restraining Order Against Kyron's Stepmom‎

A restraining order filed against the stepmother of missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman has been sealed until further notice, according to a judge's clerk.

Kaine Horman filed for divorce and a family abuse prevention act restraining order Monday against Terri Horman, who deputies said was the last person to see Kyron on the day he disappeared from Skyline School in northwest Portland.

Judge Keith Meisenheimer sealed the restraining order to prevent it from compromising the investigation into Kyron's disappearance, according to the clerk in Meisenheimer's office.

Kaine Horman's divorce petition asked that he receive sole custody of Kiara Horman, an 18-month-old girl who is the only common child in his marriage with Terri Horman.

The reason for filing the petition was listed as "irreconcilable differences."

A former FBI profiler, Candice Delong, wasted no time Monday evening in casting a dark shadow of suspicion over Terri Moulton Horman, the stepmother in the missing Kyron Horman case in
Portland, Oregon. Appearing on CNN's "Larry King Live," Delong told the talk show host that she found several aspects of the stepmother's story a little difficult to believe. Delong also found it difficult to believe that 7-year-old Kyron Horman was abducted at a school and nobody saw or heard anything.

Search Expert Using Dogs To Search For Kyron‎

A search expert took his border collies into the field Wednesday to search for evidence of missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman, nearly one month after the boy disappeared from Skyline School in northwest Portland.

Harry Oakes, the head of International K-9 Search and Rescue, offered his services to police when Kyron disappeared, but they declined. He said he's donating his time to search for Kyron on his own.

Since the first week of the investigation, Sauvie's Island has been a location repeatedly searched in the effort to find Kyron. Dive teams, K-9s and horse trailers have been spotted at the island, but deputies have not said whether they found anything.

Oakes returned to the island on Wednesday.

Kyron Horman's stepmom hires prominent Portland defense attorney

Terri Moulton Horman has retained prominent Portland criminal defense attorney Stephen Houze as investigators continue to focus on her in the nearly monthlong disappearance of her stepson, Kyron Horman.

Horman, who has been in seclusion at her Northwest Portland home since her husband, Kaine Horman, moved out with the couple's 19-month-old daughter, slipped past the crowd of television and print reporters at the foot of the driveway Wednesday. She returned home around 5:30 p.m. in a silver Volvo sedan with Houze, who got out to open a gate across the gravel road which had been closed for the first time.

Houze declined to answer questions, saying only that the drive was "private property." Houze left about an hour later.

PORTLAND, Ore. - KATU News has been tracking postings by Kyron Horman’s stepmother, Terri Horman, on KATU.com’s comment section. While there are no bombshells in them it is the first time she has communicated publicly about her stepson’s disappearance.

KATU News traced her user ID to an e-mail address, which it then traced to a professional Internet profile in the name of Terri Horman. The account was set up well before Kyron disappeared.

In the postings, Terri defends herself against all kinds of accusations.

911 calls made before missing Oregon boy's father moved out‎

PORTLAND, Ore. - There were not one, but two 911 calls placed from Kyron Horman's home last Saturday night, the Bureau of Emergency Communications confirmed Wednesday.
A log of the calls revealed the first report came in at 5:18 p.m. and lasted 13 minutes. Dispatchers said the caller reported threats made inside the family's home in Multnomah County.

The second 911 call was made from the home at 11:39 p.m., and was recorded by dispatchers as a child custody issue.

The calls came on the same day Kyron's father, Kaine Horman, moved out of the family's home, taking the couple's 18-month-old daughter, Kiara Horman, with him. The Bureau of Emergency Communications wouldn't disclose the identity of the caller.
