Woodward sheriff seeks aid from a psychic
WOODWARD — Logan Tucker was Woodward County Sheriff Les Morton's first child murder case.
Morton successfully closed it last year when the 6-year-old boy's mother, Katherine Rutan, was convicted of first-degree murder, although Logan's body wasn't found. His mother is serving a life sentence.
Still, Morton can't let the case go.
"Logan Tucker's death is not complete. There is no closure on the Logan Tucker case just because Rutan was convicted and sent to jail,” Morton said in November.

Jury Convicts Woman Accused Of Killing Missing Boy
A Woods County jury on Friday convicted a woman of first-degree murder in the 2002 death of her 6-year-old son, whose body has never been found.
The panel deliberated a little more than two hours before finding Katherine Rutan guilty of the death of Logan Tucker, even though the prosecution's case was largely circumstantial. The jury recommended life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Logan's body has never been found.

Katherine Rutan Sentenced
Katherine Rutan, also known as Katherine Rutan Pollard, was today sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Rutan was found guilty in a jury trial in August of the murder of her son Logan Tucker, age 6, who has not been seen in five years and whose body has yet to be found.

WOODWARD — Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals has affirmed the Woods County first-degree murder conviction of Katherine Rutan Pollard for the murder of her then 6-year-old son, Logan Tucker. Logan’s body was never recovered. The opinion was issued on Feb. 13. The opinion was written by Justice Gary Lumpkin. None of the five justices voted to reverse the conviction.

His mother, Katherine Pollard, was convicted of first degree murder in 2007 for the death, but his body was never found.
There are no updates available at this time.
Logan was 6 years old when he went missing.
