Circumstances: Mel O'Brien, an Irish National, is missing from the Swords area since 14th May 2011. When last seen he was wearing a grey tracksuit top with a hood, grey tracksuit bottoms with white runners. He was also wearing an illuminous green Celtic football jersey with Kriggs RIP and Number 1 imprinted on the back. He was also wearing a white cap.

Help sought over missing Swords teenager‎
Gardaí in Swords are seeking the public's assistance in locating a 17-year-old youth.

Mel O'Brien was last seen at the Pavillions Shopping Centre, Swords at around 8.30pm on Saturday 14 May.

He is described as being 5' 8'' tall, 11 stone in weight with sandy coloured shaved hair. He has a pale complexion, is well built and athletic looking .

When last seen he was wearing a grey hooded tracksuit top, a luminous green Celtic football jersey, grey tracksuit bottoms and white runners.

He is believed to frequent the Ballybrack/Dundrum areas.

Gardai searching for missing teens‎

GARDAI have appealed for help in finding two missing teenagers.

The cases of a 16-year-old Wexford girl and 17-year-old Dublin boy are not linked.....

.... Separately, gardai last night appealed for help in tracing a 17-year-old who has been missing since May 14.

Mel O'Brien was last seen at the Pavillion Shopping Centre in Swords, Co Dublin at about 8.30 in the evening.

He is 5ft 8ins tall, 11 stone and has sandy coloured hair.

Gardai have asked that anyone with information about Kayleigh should contact New Ross station on 051 426030 and anyone who knows of Mel's whereabouts should call Swords on 01 6664700.

The Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station can also be contacted.

Thanks Twiggy. There is rumour Kayleigh has been found but we'll have to wait and see for confirmation if status changed in case.

I haven't found Kayleigh listed on Missing Kids!!!

So I have held off on listing her case here until I can find some more information!!

Gardai confirm on their website that Mel O'Brien has been found safe and well on 28/05/2011. I am awaiting a response re Kayleigh Rush.
