Note: This case is a stark illustration of the complete failure of the Japanese legal system to protect children. The Canadian court rendered a careful evaluation of the case. The mother then abducted the children to Japan and the Japanese courts sanctioned the mother's actions. These children are still listed as missing.

There are no news updates at this time.

Alexander is now 17 years old.

Manami is now 14 years old.

Alexander & Manami are no longer listed on Canada's Missing Kids Website..

Please note the following messages:

Sorry! The case you requested does not exist or has been removed from the site.



They have also been removed from the ICMEC.

However they are still listed on INTERPOL..

I cannot find any other information on the case at the moment.
