Kayden King-Gayman Found After Abduction; Tiara Monique-Williams

Howard County police apprehended a woman Thursday afternoon for abducting a friend's child overnight in Columbia.

Tiara Monique-Williams was arrested in Suitland at the home of a relative around 2 p.m. Thursday without incident. She will be charged with child abduction.

Police believe 23-year-old Tiara Monique-Williams took 16-month-old Kayden King-Gayman while watching her at the child's mother's home in the 9400 block of Ridge View Drive in Columbia.

The incident was reported to police around midnight, say Howard County police.

The child was unharmed at the same location in Suitland earlier Thursday. Monique-Williams was not at the location when the child was found, but she returned to the residence later and was arrested.

Howard County police, the FBI, Secret Service and Maryland State Police worked together in this investigation.
