CANDLELIGHT and pink ribbons marked the two-month anniversary of Mt Druitt girl Kiesha Abrahams’ disappearance on Friday.
A large crowd wearing pink and carrying candles gathered at Elizabeth Jonsson Reserve, near Kiesha’s home on Woodstock Ave.
They lit candles in hope of reigniting awareness about the missing six-year-old.
The vigil was organised through a Facebook group, Princess Kiesha Abrahams.
The event’s organiser and site administrator, Katrina Parker said the event was a case of “one (Facebook) page banning together”.

'They don't know me': Kiesha's mother hits back as vigil held
NEIGHBOURS lit candles outside the home of Kiesha Abrahams last night while the missing six-year-old's mother, stepfather and biological father were being interviewed about the child's whereabouts by detectives at the Mount Druitt police station. The adults were at the station for several hours but left last night with no charges laid by police.
Flowers and soft toys began to pile up on the front fence of the family's apartment block yesterday, where about 200 people later held a candlelight vigil while the search for the girl continued in nearby parkland.
.... Kiesha's mother, Kristi Abrahams, rejected suggestions the child's upbringing had been less than ideal. ''It is disgusting what they are saying,'' she told Seven News. ''They don't know me.''
Ms Abrahams said she loved and missed her happy little girl. ''She was funny, she was always happy. She loved animals; she loved macaroni and cheese; she loved her sister and her brother.''

Hope for Kiesha dims, police have no new leads
THE chances of finding Mt Druitt girl Kiesha Abrahams alive become slimmer each day, says the detective leading the investigation.
It is almost three months since the six-year-old girl disappeared from her Woodstock Ave home.
While police remained committed to the case, Det-Insp Russell Oxford said time was not on their side. “The longer this goes, the worse it is and the graver it is,” he told the Standard.
There have not been any new significant developments and the investigation continues.

Kiesha hope fades
IT IS now almost 100 days since Kiesha Abrahams disappeared from her Mt Druitt home and in that time the mystery of her fate has only deepened.
Detectives investigating the disappearance say they are continuing to look for a breakthrough.
As the chances of finding her alive diminish with time, they say they are keeping their focus on forensic evidence.
Lead detective Insp Russell Oxford said: ``We’re looking at capitalising in forensic information.
``No extraordinary information has come in providing a breakthrough.
``We’re going through our information and anything we may have overlooked or missed.’‘
He said while police have no new leads, they were constantly evaluating information.

Police interview Kiesha's little sister: report
Homicide detectives have taken the unprecedented step of interviewing the three-year-old sister of Kiesha Abrahams without either of her parents being present.
As the search for six-year-old Kiesha enters its 100th day today, police confirmed they had been waiting for the right time to speak to Kiesha's younger sister Breeana, The Daily Telegraph reports.
Police spent several hours with Breanna, who was accompanied by a social worker who has been in close contact with the family since Kiesha was reported missing from her Mt Druitt home on August 1.
Investigators specially trained in working with children were brought in for the interview which took place last week.
The interview included role playing to try and encourage Breanna to speak to officers.
Breanna's mother Kristi Abrahams and stepfather Robert Smith were not allowed in the interview room.
Ms Abrahams is doubtful the police achieved anything in interviewing her youngest daughter.
"I know for a fact they got nothing, she doesn't talk," Ms Abrahams said.
"She doesn't talk to the police, she doesn't talk to anyone."
Ms Abrahams said the girl was not comfortable around people she did not know and had not been talkative since Kiesha went missing.
She said Breanna often notices her sister's absence from the family, saying "Sissy gone".
Police would not disclose the reasons for interviewing the child, who is now one of the youngest people to be interviewed by NSW police.

Lead Det-Insp Russell Oxford said police had not ruled out offering a reward to encourage people with information to come forward.

``It is a big consideration in the investigation,’’ he said. ``We’re not discounting it.

Ms Abrahams blasted the organiser of Kiesha’s Flea Market - Albert Lafaele - for using the six-year-old’s name without her permission.

Kiesha Abraham mum's fury over exploiting name
THE mother of missing Mt Druitt girl Kiesha Abrahams has criticised a Hebersham flea market named after her daughter.
Ms Abrahams blasted the organiser of Kiesha’s Flea Market - Albert Lafaele - for using the six-year-old’s name without her permission.
``I think he’s twisted and sick in the head for using my daughter’s name,’’ she said in an interview on TEN News last Monday night. It has been almost four months since Kiesha disappeared from her Woodstock Ave home.
She was last seen by her mother when she was put to bed on Saturday, July 31.
