Child(ren) Name(s): Oscar Casanova, Karla Casanova, Fernando Casanova
Description of Abduction: at the request of the chicago pd, the illinois emergency alert system is activated for an amber alert. Three children were abducted from 1839 N. Richmond, Chicago on April 18th,2008 at 2:30pm. Oscar Casanova is a white hispanic 6 year old boy, who is 4 foot and weighs 60 pounds,with dark brown hair and brown eyes. Karla Casanova is a white hispanic 7 year old female, who is 4foot 1 inches,and weighs 75 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Fernando Casanova is a white hispanic 11 year old boy, who is 5foot and weighs 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Benito O Casanova, white hispanic 32 year old male, 6 foot 1 inches, 230 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, boyfriend/husband is abductor. Vehicle is 2002 silver/gray dodge dakota, illinois license 86196hb, one plate is missing. anyone with information should call 9-1-1 and advise they have an amber alert report. this includes this amber alert issued by the illinois state police.

These children are still missing.Someone is protecting the father. He is dangerous so it is best to keep this with the professionals in US & Mexico. Hope they are found soon.

It makes me so angry that the success rate of abduction recoveries to Mexico is so low ! No.s are rising daily of family abductions to Mexico !

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children issued a notificiation today through their Poster Partners Program that Fernando, Oscar and Karla Casanova have been located. There is no information regarding their alleged abductor, Benito Casanova. I will continue to look for updates in the media. This is good news.
