Manhunt for dad after woman found dead, children missing

The hunt is underway for a man suspected of killing his girlfriend and trying to leave the country with their children.

The 27-year-old woman's body was found Monday night in a Langford Avenue home. She was stabbed in the neck, and her children, 8-year-old Luis Miguel Encarnacion and 9-year-old Mariela Encarnacion, were missing.

Police suspect the children are with their father, Maico "Michael" Encarnacion. Warrants are being issued to charge Encarnacion with the murder, police Chief Tommy Tunson said.

The FBI is lending a hand with the investigation, because police believe the father is trying to flee to Mexico with the children.

Encarnacion is believed to be driving a white pickup.

Anyone who has information that can help the investigation is asked to call Arvin police at (661) 854-5583 or the FBI at (661) 323-9665 .

Woman Fatally Stabbed In Home; Kids Missing‎
FBI: Father May Have Taken Children To Mexico

A woman was fatally stabbed, and now police are looking for two children who may be with the man they suspect in her death.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Arvin Police Department said about 9 p.m. Monday, the body of a 27-year-old woman was found inside a home in the 200 block of Lang Ford Avenue.

Officers said she had a knife wound to her neck.
Police are searching for 35-year-old Maico Encarnacion who they said is possibly with their two children.
Police said 8-year-old Luis Miguel Encarnacion and 9-year-old Mariela Encarnacion never arrived at school Tuesday morning.

Arvin police: Murder, kidnapping suspect spotted in LA‎

Authorities believe an Arvin murder suspect is trying to escape to Mexico via bus.

Maico "Michael" Encarnacion has been spotted at a bus terminal in Los Angeles, Arvin police Chief Tommy Tunson said Wednesday.

Encarnacion allegedly stabbed his 27-year-old girlfriend, who hasn't been identified, in the neck Monday at their home on Langford Avenue in Arvin. Police believe Encarnacion has the couple's children, 8-year-old Luis Miguel Encarnacion and 9-year-old Mariela Encarnacion.

The FBI is lending a hand with the investigation, and photos of Encarnacion and the children have been sent to the border crossings.

Anyone with information that can help the investigation is asked to call Arvin police at (661) 854-5583 or the FBI at (661) 323-9665 .

These children are still missing, believed to be in the company of their father. Their mother was found deceased in the house. Please forward to any Mexican friends. I can bet this forum of members has some !

Sorry! The case you requested does not exist or has been removed from the site.


I cannot find information confirming that they have been found but I have read on another site that according to "Missing Kids" the case is now RESTRICTED!!!!
