20 year old Steven Cook went missing in Crete on 1st september 2005!!! His family are still desperate for information that will lead them to find him and bring him home!!! (The second image is updated to show how Steven may look now!!)

63 year old Micheal Forest went out to get a paper on 7th December 2010 he was last spotted 20 miles away from his home at the lakeside shopping centre in Essex. He was displaying the early signs of Dementia leading up to his disappearence!!! When Micheal went missing britain was in the grip of one of the coldest winters on record!!

24 year old Jacqueline Windsor went missing from Basingstoke, Hampshire on 13 April 2006. She got off a train in her home town and was last seen heading in the direction of her home but she never arrived!!!

36 year old Stewart Taylor went missing on the 8th December 2009 from the Allerton area near Liverpool. . He left for home after watching his son's school Nativity play and has not been seen since. Bank transaction after his disappearence show he might have travelled to Amsterdam or Germany!!!

36 year old Andrew Faria has been missing since the 6th July 2006 from the Battersey area of London. He left home that morning saying he'd be back in the evening but he never returned. He travelled to Portsmouth that day and it is believed that he boarded a ferry to Bilbao, Spain at the harbour. No-one can confirm that he ever arrived in Spain!!! He may have been unwell before his disappearance.

53 Year old Carol Galbally went missing after walking out of her home on 25th November 2009. She was suffering from depression due to the return of childhood abuse memories which started to surface when she turned 50. Her husband knew something was wrong when he found her purse, door Key and Wedding ring on the kitchen counter!!! After making some phone calls he discovered she never made it to a Hospital appointment scheduled for 11am on the day she went missing leaving her husband and four sons very worried!!! Police searched for carol and expressed fears for a safe return if she had gone into the river in very cold conditions!!!

Next morning the police had a tip off that an unidentified woman had been found and was at Basildon hospital!!! She had no ID and had given a false name!! A photo taken from her home later verified that the woman was Carol!! She was found in a park 7 miles from home on the day she went missing!! She had taken some pills in a bid to take her own life as she was very depressed!! A passer by alerted police and they then took her to hospital!! She is doing well now and has received the help she needed. With the support of her family Carol is now living with her depression!!!

32 year old Colin Turner has been missing since 14 feb 2007 from Co. Cork in Ireland!!! He is 5' 10'' of Stockily built with blue eyes and long brown hair which he often wears in a pony tail!!! When Colin last was seen he was wearing a black leather jacket and a baseball cap!!!

17 year old Alexander Sloley has been missing since missing 2nd August 2008 from the Islington area of London. When he left home he said he was going to stay with friends for the weekend but he hasn't been seen since!! He sometimes goes by the nickname GOGS!!!!

Gaynor Faye is back with Julie Potts following up the case of missing 38 year old Catherine Hill (Butterfield, married name) who may have bought a Property in Yorkshire!! They go to check out the new address which has come to light!! Catherine's case came back into the media after remains were found in the Angels Meadows area of Manchester in 2010. Forensic tests have proved that the woman had been murdered but DNA testing have proved that the body wasn't catherine!! Julie Potts has launched a new investigation to Find Catherine!! There were no real clues at the house but a chat between neighbours and the investigators brings to light that Catherine's dad bought the house in 1983 which Catherine did it up but she never actually moved into the address as far as they were aware!! The house has been unoccupied for over 25 years!! The team go back to her daughter to fill the family in on the outcome of their latest enquiries!!

36 year old Darren Waller has been missing since 9th January 2011 from hartlepool. Darren and his wife split in Sept 2009 but remained close for the sake of their 3 daughters!! In November 2010 Darren lost one of his a close friends and then again around the time Darren went missing he lost another close friend which left him very down!!! The police pulled out all the stops to try and find Darren but no trace of him was found!!

Ester Rantzen, president of childline was also on the show talking about the effect of Missing family members on children and how childline can help them through it!! Childline can also help children wanting to run away from home for whatever reason and how they can provide a safe place for that child if needed!!

48 year old Elaine Taggart has been missing from Ferring West Sussex since 3rd January 2008. Her car was found outside Goring railway station, near Worthing. There is great concern for Elaine as her disappearance is out of character.

35 year old Claudia Lawrence went missing from York on 18th of March 2009. Her father Peter is on the show to talk about the search for his missing daughter. He believes Claudia is still alive as he would feel it inside if she had died since she went missing!!

He is also on the show to talk about his campaign to get practical help for the families of Missing persons. He explained how a missing person's possessions cannot be dealt with until that person has been leaglly declared dead which takes 7 years from when they disappeared. In those 7 years a house can be repossed and sold by the mortage company due to non payment of the mortgage. The same applies to insurances policies and bank accounts (inc joint accounts), These companys only deal with the person whose name appears on the documents so what happens if that person disappears???? Peter is trying to get the law changed to allow other family members the right to deal with these issues after someone goes missing!!

14 Year old School boy Andrew Gosden disappeared from his home on the morning of the 14th of September 2007. He left for school as usual that morning, later when his parents, Kevin and Glenys Gosden got in from work they just assumed he was somewhere in the house. They only realised he wasn't in the there when they called him for tea!!! After contacting school they found out he hadn't turned up for school at all that day!! The police were called and South Yorkshire police immediately launched a search!!! The poilce pieced together what he did that day!! Instead of going to school he went to a cash point and withdrew £200 pounds and then caught a train to Kingscross in London!!! A witness who sold him his ticket said he only bought a single fare to London even though a return ticket would have cost just 50p extra. This has lead police to believe he didn't intend to return home. He was caught on CCTV leaving Kingscross station at 11.45am on the day he went missing. There have been no confirmed sightings of him since!!!

3 and a half years on Kevin and Glinys are begining to think Andrew will never come back!! In an attempt to find answers they decided to search the Thames to see if Andrew some how ended up in the river!! Earlier this year they turned to a firm who specialise in sonar technology, they had invented an under water robot to search for drowning victims which they used to searched the river bed for Andrew!!! The search didn't find him.

41 year old Julie Melton left her parents house on Summerville road in the Waterloo district of Liverpool on 23 July 2004. She phoned them later that evening to say she was almost home but she has not been seen or heard of since. Julie is 5'4" of slim build with short brown hair and she speaks with a strong Liverpool accent. When last seen she was wearing silver earrings, a black t-shirt and black trousers with a floral design on the right leg.

Gaynor Faye out again with Missing person investigator Julie Potts! She is struck by the speed and effencey of the missing persons unit when a fresh case lands on the desk!! Today they are working on the case of Jordan Ratcliffe, he has been missing since 13 August 2008!!! Jordan was abandoned by his mother when he was 20 months old, His grandfather became his guardian and has raised him since! Life was pretty normal until jordan hit his teens when he started to rebel!!! He was living in a temporary hostel in the city centre with the hope that he'd return back home to his grandad.

Julie has enlisted the help of manchester city football club to get some publicity for the case by making a special appeal for the teenager! It is a sad fact that 64% of missing people in the Greater Manchester area are tenagers!!! Julie says that if your child goes missing, if it is out of character and you have concerns that you should call the unit - Don't delay the call!!!

They later meet up with Jordan's Aunt Kimberely the last person to see Jordan to fill her in on the latest updates to do with the case. They are hoping that the new appeal brings lots of interest and someone will come forward with that vital piece of information!!

Ben Needham was last seen on the Greek Island of Kos on 21 July 1991. When last seen Ben was 21 months old. He had blue eyes and blonde hair. His family were from Sheffield. They have never given up hope of finding him. His mum Kerry Needham Grist was only 17 years old when she gave birth to Ben, she says being a mum at that age was frightenig She didn't have a a job at the time but from the moment her doctor confirmed she was Pregnant she was so happy!!! Ben loved being the centre of attention, he was always playing, always smiling and he was always happy!!! He was funny, loving, sometimes naughty, he was everything in a child you could have wished for, He was Kerry's angel!!

When Ben went missing the family were living on the greek island of Kos, Kerry often left Ben with her mum Christine while she went to work. Her father and brother were working on a house for a Greek man as they were in the building trade!! Ben was playing just outside the farmhouse toddling about!! At 2.30 that afternoon her brother left as there was no more work for him to do!!! Ben was still playing just outside the farmhouse door!!! Christine took her eyes off Ben for just a minute while she went inside the farmhouse!! Moments later she noticed he had gone very quiet!! She went out to the door and Ben wasn't there! he has just vanished completely.

Christine thought he had just wandered down the lane but after 4 hours it became clear he had disappeared and the police were called!! A promising lead was discovered the next day, local builders saw a white car on the lane around the time Ben went missing. A lengthy investigation into links between Ben and the car found nothing!! Ben's sister Leighanna, who was born after Ben's abduction now helps to continue the search for her brother!!! The family is determined to do what ever it takes to find Ben!!! Kerry doesn't believe that the Kos police were equiped to deal with an abduction case!! "Through no fault of their own they were island police and were not trained, they were not FBI, they were not CID, they were just island police officers used to dealing with tourist crimes, not a child abduction, not murders!!!!"

Mistakes were made in the first few hours, ferrys leaving the island were not searched and it took 2 days to alert the airport!! There have been a few occasions when they thought the search was over but each time the child in question turned out not to be Ben!!! Ben's case has now been brought into the 21st century with the use of the internet to get information out to as many people as possible!! 20 Years on Ben's mum is still haunted by his disappearence!! Kerry and leighanna now believe he may find them rather than them finding him due to all the latest technology!!! Ben could be anywhere in the world!!! 39 year old Stewart cook has been missing from Arbroath, Tayside, Scotland, since 2 September 1994. Stewart is 5ft 11in tall, of medium build with short, black hair and brown eyes. He is a seaman by trade, Stewart has a tattoo of a ship on his lower right arm.

27 year old Richard Edwards went missing from the Embassy Hotel in London on 1 February 1995. His car was found at the Severn Bridge Service Station in Avon two weeks later, Richard has not been seen or heard from since. His family would love to know what has happened to Richard and urge anyone with news to contact the charity. Richard is 5ft 8in tall and has dark brown eyes. When last seen he was very thin with cropped brown hair and a pale complexion. Richard was a guitarist in the Manic Street Preachers.

Kirsten O'Brien is on the show as an ambassador for Missing people!! She became involved with the charity after her friend and co presenter Mark Speight went missing 3 years ago. He was found dead 6 days after he went missing.

Daniel Birch, also known as Danny, has been missing from his home in Dover, Kent, since 21 August 2000. There has been no news since and his whereabouts remain unknown. Danny s family and friends are desperately worried about his sudden disappearance. Danny is 5ft 11in tall, of a medium build with short silver grey hair. He wears bi-focal glasses. The last time Danny was seen, it was he was wearing a checked shirt, vest, with blue or grey trousers.

19 year old Luke Durbin from Woodbridge, Suffolk has been missing since the early hours of Friday 12 May 2006 following a night out with friends at the Zest nightclub in Ipswich. Luke is 5ft 10in, slim with short, light brown wavy hair and blue eyes. When he went missing he was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and brown suede shoes.

Despite extensive searches and several unconfirmed sightings there has been no news from Luke since and his current whereabouts remain unknown. His disappearance is completely out of character.

A new police review of the case in underway!!! 5 years on new CCTV footage has come to light from the night Luke went missing!! His family is hoping for a breakthrough in the case!!

38 year old Timothy Foote has been missing from Bristol since 9 June 2010. His disappearance is out of character. Timothy is 6ft 1in tall, of medium build with straight light brown hair.

Gerry and Kate are on the show to talk about what has happened since Madeleine McCann vanished on 3 may 2007. The media circus and the search for their daughter. Kate is promoting her book "Madeleine". They also want the case to be reviewed!! The case has now stalled and they are having to use private investigators to search for their daughter!! They are kept going by their conviction that Madeleine will be found alive!! They do their best to keep awareness of the case in the public eye!!!

Gaynor Faye is back with Missing person investigator Julie Potts. Julie doesn't just deal with people who go missing locally she also deals with cases of people who go missing abroad. Today they travel to Stockport to folow up on the case of Alex Humphrey, a young man who disappeared while back-packing in Panama. 29 year old Alexander went missing on the 13 August 2009. They are going to visit Alex Humphrey's dad to follow up on how things are progressing in Panama and if the family are getting answers. When someone goes missing abroad it adds another layer of complications as Julie has to rely on police officers in that country to run the investigation on the ground. 3 years later Alex's family have made no headway with the Panama police despite trying to work very closely with them.

"Alex decided to go to central America, he had slight learning difficulties as a child and is mildly aspergic which doesn't make him as aware of other people and their reactions to things going on around him in the same way as you and I would!" He had previously been back-packing in Europe and enjoyed the adventure. He liked being on his own, didn't take drugs and didn't drink, so there were un underlying worries concerning his lifestyle and he was good at staying out of trouble.

While with Alex's dad they catch up with his mum, Jill via skype as she is staying with family in Florida while trying to get more information on the case. Florida is also only a 3 hour flight away so His mum could get there quickly if any new development arises. Julie wanted to send 2 police officers from the UK to help in the search for Alex but at the last minute they were refused entry into the country. Procedures differ from country to country so it is a difficult and sensitive job trying to keep the lines of communication open while trying to get answers for families in the UK.

Actress Brenda Blethyn is on the show talking about how she had to turn detective to track down her missing brother 40 years ago!! When Brenda was born her brother, Ted was old enough to have left home. He was always an adventurous boy and known to disappear for days at a time!! Years later she ended up going door to door in the area of his lasrt known address with a photograph. After a tip off from one of those doorsteps chats he was eventually found living and working in British Columbia, Canada. He was so delighted that his family had tracked him down that he moved back to the Uk with his wife and family!!

20 year old Derek Burns has been missing since 10 March 1989. He left his home in West Calder, Scotland saying he was going to meet friends for a drink but did not return. It was later discovered that Derek had gone to Hemel Hempstead to see his girlfriend. However, he has not been heard from him since. Derek is 6ft 2in, slim with grey/blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, Derek had long dark brown wavy hair. He may now have a beard.

Jim and Pauline Green are on the show looking for help to find their son, 26 year old Matthew Green who went missing from Sittingbourne, Kent, on 9 April 2010. Matthew is 6ft tall, of slim build with brown eyes and mousey brown hair. He has tattoos, on his upper arm he has the word Matty and below that he has the England football symbol of the 3 lions . His disappearance is totally out of character. As a teenager he was a very memorable character, mad about football playing for his school and county!! He had lots of friends and was very popular!!

In his early twentys Matthew became more and more withdrawn and frightened of the world. The changes were gradual, he started isolating himself and spent lots of time in his room!! He lost interest in his friends and slowly they all disappeared. In November 2008 he was admitted to hospital with severe depression, after 5 months he was well enough to be come home!!! He returned to work, he seemed find, he was quite happy and was in the process of saving up his money to get his car back on the road, his life was back on track and he started going out again even spending the odd weekend away!!

In April 2010 he planned a weekend trip to London. He told his family he was going stay with a friend in the Mile End area of London and that he'd be back on Sunday. When Matthew didn't return his parents thought he might have been sleeping off a few to many drinks over the weekend!! By Wednesday there was no news so they called the police. The police discovered he didn't turn up at his friends house in London in fact he wasn't even expected. The police soon realised he had taken his passport, his birth certificate and almost £2000 in cash with him!! His friends set up a a facebook page which drew interest from 6,000 people, there were many media appeals for information but Matthew has never been found.

5 Months after his disappearence Matthew was spotted on a bus in London!! One of his missing posters was on the bus and he turned to the person next to him and said "I see they still care" An inspector got on the bus to check tickets and Matthew said he was homeless and had no money so he was ordered off the bus near Mile End, the area of London where Matthew said he was originally heading to!!!

54 year old Terrence Potts has been missing from Digbeth, West Midlands, since 10 November 1999. Terrence, who is also known as Poto, is 5ft 4in tall, of slim build with grey hair and blue eyes. He has several tattoos including one on his chest as well as on both hands and arms.

Joe Apps, head of the national missing persons bereau and sharon Mcdonna, a police forensic artist are on the show explaining how they work together to identify any unidentified unclaimed bodies found! This work avoids the police having to put Mortuary pictures in the media in their hunt for information as to the identity of the deceased.

44 year old Wendy Whitehead has not been seen since 26 December 2001, when she left the home she shared with her boyfriend in Hilversum, Holland. She spoke to her father that day saying that she was going to leave and that she would ring back later. However, she did not call back and has not been heard from since. Wendy moved to Holland from Blackpool in 2000. She has three children who live in Leeds and who, together with her father, are extremely anxious to hear from her to know that she is safe and well. There is particular concern for Wendy, for although she appears to have taken her passport with her, she left behind most of her other possessions and her bank account has been untouched since. Wendy is 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with shoulder-length, wavy, dark brown hair and brown . The second photo is age progressed to show how Wendy might look now!!

78 Year old Gordon Clark went missing 10 october 2009 from Church Hill Square shopping centre in Brighton. Gordon suffered from dementia. The last time his wife Ann saw him he was heading down an escalator and then he vanished!! He went to go to the toilet and Ann waited nearby, 10 minutes later she thought he was taking his time and asked a cleaner to check and see if he was ok But he was not there!! She went back up to the food hall and looked over the balcony and saw him going down an escalator but he moved so fast she couldn't catch up with him!!! She went to the security desk and they called in the police. The police checked the shopping centre and Brighton town centre but there was no sign of Gordon!! It looked like Gordon had left the shopping centre the worry was that he made his way to Brighton Pier!! The coast guard was alerted to search the shore while the police concentrated their efforts further inland!! The police and other services continued to look throughout the night. The Brighton cabbies were informed and they too kept a look out for Gorden. Shortly after this a cabbie stopped a police officer and told him he had just seen Gordon. The police were on the scene in seconds and Gorden was taken to safety. He is now safely back with his family, he has no memory of what happened!!!

37 year old Andrew Capon has been missing from Grantham, Lincolnshire since 2 October 1998 following a night out with friends in Skegness town centre. He has not been seen or heard from since. It is thought that Andrew could be in Scotland. Andrew is 6ft 2in tall, of heavy build with fair hair and blue eyes. He has a finger missing from his left hand, tattoos on both arms and pierced ears.

42 year old Simon Hickson has been missing from Surbiton, Surrey, since 9 April 2009. There is great concern for as Simon as his disappearance is out of character. Simon is 5 ft 8 in tall, of medium build with hazel eyes and brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a grey polo t-shirt with a single mustard coloured band across the chest, and jeans.

He was popular, well connected, mad on cycling and sucessful in Businness!!! He left a note saying he had financial problems and he was going to sort them out and that he'd be back next day.

Almost a week later when there was no contact from Simon the police were called in!! They discovered that on the day he went missing he was spotted with his racing bike traveling to Calais. He got off the ferry in france but he hasn't been seen since. During the course of the investigation the UK poilce have spoken with their collegues in France and Italy via interpol, international cycling clubs and hotels and businnesses abroad that may have had contact with Simon but no information on Simon has surfaced!!

38 year old Elena Zhagorova has been missing from Tottenham, north London since 21 May 2008. She was last seen at Highgate Underground station. there has been no sign of Elena since There is great concern for Elena as she may be unwell. Elena is originally from Latvia, she is 5ft 5in tall and of slim build with shoulder-length, fair hair.

42 year old Malcolm Leeves has been missing from his home in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, since 22 June 2006. He left saying he was going out, but has not been heard from since. Although it is thought that Malcolm may have gone to London or Brighton, it is also possible that he could have travelled to Tenerife.
