Appeal to locate missing younster

Officers from Stafford CID are appealing to the public for help in locating a 15 year-old girl, missing from Stone and believed to be in the Nottinghamshire area.

Leanne Foreman left her address in Stocking Gate Lane, Coton Clansford nearr Stone in Staffordshire at around 12.15am on Tuesday 9 November.

The youngster, who has links to Nottingham may have travelled to the area in the early hours of Tuesday morning and was believed to be wearing casual clothes.

DS Paul Bentley from Stafford CID said: “We are concerned for her safety and would urge anyone that has knowledge of her whereabouts, either in Staffordshire or Nottinghamshire to contact their local police force.

Leanne is no longer listed on the Staffordshire Police Website.

The appeal has been removed, it isn't even in the archived section.



I cannot find any other information at this time.

Leanne is obviously still missing, but there was some phone contact which may be why the appeal got removed from the police website!!!

Police appeal for missing Leanne to get in touch

A MISSING girl who turned 16 today is being urged to get in touch with police as soon as possible.

Leanne Foreman left her home in Coton Clansford, near Stone, in Staffordshire, at lunchtime on Tuesday, November 9.

She has links to Nottingham and it is believed she may have travelled to the area shortly after she left her home.

Leanne has been spoken to on the phone since she was reported missing but there has been no further contact since Christmas Eve.

Inspector Keith Priest, for Nottingham City South, said: "Like any other young girl today is a big day for Leanne and she should be celebrating her birthday with the people that love her.

"Although she has been spoken to since she was reported missing, there has now been no contact with her for almost three weeks and we are growing more and more concerned for her welfare.

"I would urge Leanne or anyone who knows her whereabouts to please give us a call, so we can establish that she is safe and well.

"At the same time, we know Leanne has associates in the area and would appeal to any of them to contact us immediately if they have seen her or know where she is.

"We would also urge members of the public who recognise Leanne from the photograph and have seen her in the Nottingham area to also contact us."

Leanne is 5ft 5ins, of medium build and has shoulder-length blonde hair and hazel eyes.

As part of the investigation, officers have distributed posters appealing for information in the Sneinton and St Ann's areas and made enquiries with Leanne's associates.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact Notts Police on 0300 300 9999 and ask for St Ann's Police Station.

Girl missing since November found safe

A 16-YEAR-OLD girl reported missing in November has been found safe.

Leanne Foreman was found early this morning after having made contact with police and family members.

She had left her address in Coton Clansford, near Stone, in Staffordshire, at lunchtime on Tuesday, November 9 and was believed to have headed to Nottingham.

The teenager had been spoken to on the phone since she was reported missing but there had been no contact since November 15.
