Circumstances: Left home address in Rochdale but has not returned home. It is believed that he is still in the area. Daniel is described as slim build, 5'6 tall with short mousey hair, blue eyes and speaks with a Northern accent. When he was last seen he was wearing a blue tracksuit top with red stripes, a white Umbro make t-shirt and black Adidas trainers.

Get ready.....I am about to rant here!

This is a real issue Pam (and everyone else).

The missing sites only tell us who is missing - how to phone with information if we have seen the child.

How about making it easier for those of us who can contribute to time to looking?

There doesn't appear a coordinated site where volunteers can contact in the first instance.

Ringo and I can make it to Rochdale...we can do posters, we can walk moors, but all we get from the Missing sites is basic information. Rochdale is a fairly big place and I am not sure that I could find the local area from the newspaper reports. (There were loads of clues with Shannon).

There needs to be a new site which coordinates volunteer support. That's my view anyway!

Hi Merly, I can understand your need to rant. We in the team here are often frustrated. I am contacting authorities re one case as a young child missing for years yet we don't know if it is a Family Abduction or other. More info can be relayed. I'm sure of it & I have requested this.You are too right aswell as so few view the Missing sites at all when you think of whole populations !
