Missing Alert for Missing 6-Year-old Boston Boy

This NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services has issued a Missing Child Alert on Thursday afternoon.

New York State Police are investigating the disappearance of Jordan Wittcop, a Boston child who is deemed to be endangered.

Jordan is six years old, 3'2" tall with blonde hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black and blue winter jacket, jeans and black/red Adidas sneakers.

Jordan was last seen with 30-year-old John Mrozek, his mother's boyfriend.

State Police tell 2 On Your Side that Jordan's mom left him with Mrozek before she went to work at 5pm on Wednesday. Police say the mother made several attempts to contact Mrozek Wednesday night without any success.

Mrozek is 5'9", 190 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen driving a 1993 Black C-15 Chevy pickup with New York registration 103-66-JG.

Police are not saying what the relation between the two is.

State Police find missing 6 year old Jordan Wittcop

6-year-old Jordan Wittcop is now back in the custody of his mother after being missing for over 12 hours. Wittcop's mother left the 6-year-old in the custody of her boyfriend, 30-year-old John Mrozek at 5 p.m. yesterday. Mrozek was expected to babysit the boy at his home on Creekside Court in Boston while the his mother went to work. The mother tried to call Mrozek, while she was at work to check up on her son, but Mrozek would not answer his phone.
Once she arrived home after 10 p.m., she discovered her son and Mrozek gone.
The boy was discovered this afternoon in the City of Buffalo inside Mrozek's vehicle unharmed. He was treated and released from Women and Children's Hospital. Mrozek is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.
