Thanks to Pam, who found this interesting news article.

A good find Pam.
Very interesting.

On average, Portugal’s PJ police investigate two new cases of missing children every day, the majority of which are later found to be run-aways. On a yearly basis 750 disappearances are investigated, those being mostly young girls aged between 14 and 17, the cases taking an average five days to solve.

Compare that to the USA, where some 2,000 children are reported missing every day, in France this number drops significantly to 100.
