Person of interest being questioned in Senath youth disappearance
Authorities have located a "person of interest" in the disappearance of a 4-year-old Senath girl who went missing around 12 p.m., today, Saturday, Aug. 6.
According to Senath City Marshal Omar Karnes, a white van that was reported to be in the vicinity when Breann Rodriguez went missing has been located, and the driver is being questioned at the Dunklin County Justice Center.
Karnes reported that the van is also being inspected for any clues.
Rodriguez was reported missing by her family around noon today. She was last seen wearing pink and blue clothes, pigtails, and was riding a pink bicycle with training wheels.
According to the Dunklin County Sheriff's Offic, the information concerning the case has been turned over to the state.

3-year-old girl and her bike missing since Saturday; FBI joins search
The search continued Monday for a 3-year-old southeast Missouri girl has been missing for two days.

Region 8 police searching for missing 3-year old
Members of the Senath Police Department and Dunklin County Sheriff's Department have been searching for a missing three year old girl for the last two days.
According to police, Breeann Rodriguez went missing Saturday morning after she was playing in front of her home on a pink bicycle. A police spokesman told Region 8 News the girl was last seen wearing pigtails and a blue shirt.

"It will be a daily thing until we find her or find out what happened," Karnes said. "It turns this community upside down.
Earlier this afternoon, Karnes was asked for an update on the case, to which he replied, "We've had a few new leads. There is nothing changed, still no evidence. Nothing other than a missing child."
Karnes was also asked why an Amber Alert has not been issued.
"It doesn't meet the criteria for an Amber Alert yet, " Karnes said. "There are no signs of foul play or an abduction. It is just a missing child [case] right now."
Karnes said authorities are out in full force looking for the little girl.

A large reward is being offered tonight for information leading to the person or persons who are believed to have abducted a three year old Bootheel Missouri Girl.
Breeann Rodriguez has been missing since Saturday August 6. She was last seen riding her bike in Senath, Missouri.
The F.B.I. in St. Louis announced an award of $25,000 for the recovery of the girl and the prosecution of anyone responsible for her disappearance. An additional $20,000 is being offered by the Marshal’s Office in Senath Missouri, bringing the total reward to $45,000.
Both agencies are asking the public for help in locating a white cargo van seen in the area prior to Breeann’s disappearance. It has no side windows and a ladder mounted on the rear.

Authorities are continuing to search for a missing Missouri toddler who was last seen near her residence in Senath on Saturday, according to a press release.
