Police seek missing 14-year-old girl last seen with 40-year-old man‎

Fairfax City police are asking for help finding a 14-year-old girl who is believed to have run away.

Fourteen-year-old Estefani Perez-Rubio was last seen with 40-year-old Charles Alberto Mejia-Ceron on Nov. 16, about 10:40 p.m., police said.

Perez-Rubio, who also goes by "Shorty", is described as four feet six inches tall, and 125 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a black spot under her left eye.

Perez-Rubio wears reading glasses and may be carrying an Adidas bag.

Mejia-Ceron is described five feet six inches tall and 150 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and possibly sporting a mustache or goatee. He was last seen driving a white 1992 Toyota 4Runner with Virginia registration XMT-5390, police said.

Anyone who has had contact with either Perez Rubio or Mejia-Ceron or has information about them is asked to call the City of Fairfax Police Department at (703) 385-7924.

Juvenile runaway sought by City of Fairfax police

City of Fairfax Police are asking for assistance in attempting to locate Estefani Perez-Rubio, 14, who was last seen in the company of Charles Alberto Mejia-Ceron, 40.

Police say they were called on Nov. 16 for a reported runaway. An investigation revealed Perez-Rubio had left her residence with Mejia-Ceron. That information was verified later by a third party.

Police say Perez-Rubio, also known as "Shorty", is described as a Hispanic female who is approximately 4-foot-6, weighing 125 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a black spot under her left eye. She was last seen wearing a black sweater with "Colombia" written on it, jeans and black tennis shoes.

Perez-Rubio also is known to wear a gold necklace with two hearts on the end, three silver rings, and gold hoop earrings. She also wears a small stud earring although it is unclear which ear it is worn in. Estefani wears reading glasses and might be carrying an Adidas bag with personal items that would include a second pair of black and white Vans tennis shoes.

Mejia-Ceron is described as a 40-year-old Hispanic male who is approximately 5-foot-6 and weighs 150 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and possibly a mustache or goatee. Mejia-Ceron was last seen wearing a dark blue short sleeved shirt and blue jeans. Mejia-Ceron takes medication for diabetes and cholesterol, and has in the past worked installing electronics inside cars.

It was reported Mejia-Ceron was last seen driving a white 1992 Toyota 4Runner with Virginia registration XMT-5390.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in helping to locate Perez-Rubio and Mejia-Ceron.

Anyone who has had contact with them or has information regarding their whereabouts is asked to call the City of Fairfax Police Department at 703-385-7924.
