Police appeal over missing teen


BREAKING NEWS
POLICE have issued an 'urgent appeal' to trace a teenager from Burton who could be sleeping rough on New Year's Eve - expected to be one of the coldest nights of the year.

Steven Hale, 14, went missing from his home in Norfolk Road, Stapenhill in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said officers were becoming 'increasingly concerned' about the teenager due to his age and the freezing temperatures.

Steven is described as being 4ft 8 tall, of stocky build, with a spotty face, short, light brown hair and blue eyes.He was last seen wearing a brand new black hooded jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.

Anyone who knows Steven's whereabouts or has any other information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police by telephoning 0300 1234455.

Anyone live near here that can help? Anyone potentially living on the streets is so very dangerous in this weather, on top of other dangers. Please help. Thank you.
