Amber Alert issued for 7 yr old Illinois Boy

The Illinois State Police Issued the Amber Alert on Friday evening after the boy was abducted in Chicago and his Grandmother and another relative were found shot to death. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

Julian King is a black male, 7 years old, 4 feet 11 inches, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown polo shirt with stripes and khaki pants.

The suspect is unknown at this time.

The suspect vehicle is a white 1994 Chevrolet Suburban with Illinois tag number X584859.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Hudson's older sister makes plea


Jennifer Hudson's older sister made a plea for the return of her missing seven-year-old son.

The Chicago police have asked the FBI to help find the missing nephew of Academy Award-winning actress Hudson after her mother and brother were found shot to death a day earlier.

Julian King has been missing since Friday when Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother Jason Hudson, 29, were found dead in Donerson's south side Chicago home.

Chicago police spokesman Daniel O'Brien said the FBI had been asked to help in the search in case the boy had been taken across state lines, in violation of federal kidnap laws.

Mr O'Brien declined to confirm various media reports that police had taken William Balfour into custody as a suspect in the double homicide investigation.

Balfour, 27, had a relationship with Hudson's sister Julia but is not the father of the missing boy.

Balfour's mother said earlier her son and Julia were estranged and that he had nothing to do with the murders.

The Illinois Department of Corrections website lists Balfour as having been convicted of attempted murder, car theft and vehicular hijacking. He was released from prison in 2006.

Mr O'Brien said more than one person had been questioned but that no one had been charged with a crime. He did not release any names.

On Friday, police spokeswoman Monique Bond said of the murders: "It appears to be domestic related."

Hudson shot to fame in 2005 as a contestant on US TV hit show American Idol. She has also starred in the film version of the stage musical Dreamgirls for which she won an Oscar for best supporting actress.

Hudson has since appeared in the movie version of Sex and the City and is currently in The Secret Life of Bees.

A search for 7-year-old Julian King was unsuccessful at a Lawndale residence where a suspect was arrested in connection with the double murders of the mother and brother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson, a police source said early Monday.

Hi Twiggy, I'm afraid it isn't hon. I'm totally gutted for the family. I'd be surprised if Capitol punishment doesn't come up for this case although not sure Illinois is included in it as a state that does it.

We've just been told Jennifer Hudson is on her way to the Medical Examiner's office to identify the body of the boy who was found dead in the back of the SUV this morning.

Jennifer Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law has pleaded not guilty to murdering her mother, brother and nephew. William Balfour – who is charged with first-degree murder and home invasion – entered his plea at the Cook County Court in Chicago on Tuesday. He is being held without bail and is due back in court on January 27.

Hudson family murderer switching jails

Last week, Balfour, 27, pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder and home invasion, reports Contactmusic. His attorney Joshua Kutick appeared at Cook County Criminal Court on Jan 27, seeking Balfour's shift from the Stateville Correctional Center near Joliet, Illinois where he has been held without bond since his December (08) arrest.

And Judge Marjorie Laws granted Balfour permission to transfer to the state's Cook County Jail, to ease the consultation process. His next court hearing will be held on 23 February (09).
