MISSING

Just over a year ago, a young girl named Cédrika Provencher disappeared from Trois-Rivières, a small town in Quebec. She was 9 years old. She was a social and talkative girl, always friendly toward others. She left her home for a bike ride and was supposed to return by 8:30pm.
Over the past year, hundreds of volunteers and police officers, helped by search dogs, have given their time and their hearts in an effort to find her. The leads found by police have proven to be unclear. Today, men and women are showing their support for the safety and love of children by joining forces in the search, in order to help the family shed light on this mystery.
Her parents remain hopeful. They believe and hope that maybe Cédrika is being held somewhere, unable to speak or free herself.
Please be vigilant. Please help us find Cédrika. If you have any information at all, even the smallest suspicion, do not hesitate to contact your local authorities.
It is for Cédrika's life...

Mystery discovery

A Health insurance card for Cedrika has been found in the centre of Saint-Etienne-des-Gres. It had been missing since a scouting trip Cedrika went on before she disappeared on 31 July 2007.

Despite a massive Police effort and searches, there has been no sign of Cedrika since the day she disappeared.

The health insurance card of Cedrika Provencher has been found

Street sweepers of Mauricie have found a health insurance card for Cedrika Provencher.

The card was found in a shoebox that contained other objects, for example an outdated driving license. The box is in the custody of Quebec Police.

Cedrika's father is not overly concerned about this as said this card was lost on a camping trip two weeks before his daughter went missing. He thinks the Police won't make too much out of the find.

Martin Provencher is said to be touched by the continuing support to find his daughter.

After having raised hopes on his return visit to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children of Washington, the Minister for Public safety, Jacques Dupuis, receives some criticisms now. Nearly two years
