Kiesha's family hit back‎

The family of missing six-year-old Kiesha Abrahams today denied they had any involvement in her disappearance.

In a statement issued through a close family friend this afternoon, they reiterated their plea for anyone with any information to contact police.

"The family wish to deny the recent allegations in the media," the statement, read by Alison Anderson, said.

Kiesha's shrine reminds us why her name must be remembered‎

While the Prime Minister and Opposition Leader were speaking at a public forum at Rooty Hill RSL last night, less than two kilometres down the road in Hebersham a different kind of public meeting was going on.

Outside a dismal, liver-coloured block of flats on busy Woodstock Avenue, kind-hearted locals were gathering with their children, as they have done every day just after dusk, to light candles and lay toys at an impromptu shrine for missing six-year-old Kiesha Abrahams.

Police stormed into the home of missing 6-year-old Kiesha Abrahams of Sydney and made a dramatic raid for the second time Tuesday after receiving new tips in the case

The Daily Telegraph said homicide detectives and a team of forensic police wearing blue jumpsuits arrived at the family home, an apartment on Woodstock Avenue, Hebersham, armed with floor plans for the unit about 3 p.m.

Dream's grisly end as hunt for Kiesha Abrahams continues

AN Aboriginal elder had a dream she would find missing toddler Kiesha Abrahams - but instead found the gruesome remains of a dismembered woman.
In a bizarre twist in the hunt for the missing six-year-old girl, elder Cheryl Carroll-Lagerwey's gut instinct took her to a reserve at Doonside, in western Sydney, where she thought the child's body might have been dumped.

Instead, she found the torso of a woman, believed to be missing Sydney mother Kristi McDougall.

Police scour bushland for missing Kiesha‎

Detectives investigating the disappearance of six-year-old Kiesha Abrahams have started searching bushland in Sydney's west, near where the torso of a woman was found last week.

The six-year-old girl was reported missing nearly three weeks ago.

A self-proclaimed psychic trying to help find Kiesha Abrahams found the woman's torso in Nurragingy Reserve at Doonside.

The reserve has been cordoned off while a search of the bushland and waterways gets underway.

Police have told the ABC they expect the search to last several days.

Cheryl Carroll-Lagerwey, Australian psychic, said she had a vision in which a child was crying out that led her to the remote creek where she discovered instead the corpse of an adult woman. She told local news reporters, "I've had a feeling to go there, so I went with my gut feeling."

Saying it was an "Aboriginal dream" that led her to make a search, Carroll-Lagerwey added, "I can't explain this.. I had a dream about a little girl being murdered and that her body was about here."

And she also insists she believes the little girl is there as well. "We're going to keep going until we find her. She's in here somewhere, I know, and we need closure," Carroll-Lagerwey said.
