Sky sources say the father of five-year-old British boy Sahil Saeed, who was snatched in Pakistan, got a phone call from kidnappers on Friday.

In a message lasting only seconds, the caller only told Sahil's father: "The boy is with us and we call you later".

Parents of kidnapped boy, 5, had 'major falling out'

The parents of the five-year-old British boy kidnapped in Pakistan were involved in a bitter split shortly before their son was snatched by armed gunmen.

Raja Naqqash Saeed took his son Sahil out of school and flew with him to his family’s home in Pakistan, leaving his wife Akila and their two daughters behind in Oldham.

He took his wife’s passport with him so she could not follow them to Jhelum, said a senior police source in the city south of Islamabad.

Boy`s mother forgives kidnappers

The mother of a British boy held captive in Pakistan has said she forgives the kidnappers as she made an emotional plea for the safe return of her son.

Police in the Punjab region of the country are continuing to question several men over the abduction but there was no sign of an imminent rescue of five-year-old Sahil Saeed.
