Police investigating allegations of abuse at a former children's home in Jersey have made finds in a second cellar room.

Jersey police search drains for human remains



They have uncovered fragments of a child's skull and bone, as well as two underground chambers at the home.

Yesterday, the deputy chief of police, Lenny Harper, said a sniffer dog had picked up the scent of human remains at the entrance to a drain in the second chamber which runs from the concrete bath in the first.
