This is the 3 year old child who fell between 2 escalators.
She is recovering in Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
Belle has asked us to keep her in our thoughts. (See the The Fireplace Chat thread).
Ewe....would it be possible to have a thoughtful tribute for her successful recovery please?

Would the forum like me to nip into Manchester tomorrow and organise a healing mass for Evie Parry? I can send it Alder Hey Children's hospital.
Let me know!

Yes, good idea Merly.
I do hope this little girl makes a good recovery. I hate escalators, my
little girl tripped on them once at a tube station, I was laden with bags and
buggy but the people behind us trampled all over her, she was ok but they
can be so dangerous. Our local tescos has a flat escalator, a much better
and safer way for children as they can stay in their buggies or the trolley.

Ewe is away on holiday for 10 days but I'm sure she'll be happy to help when she returns from Tenerife.
Hopefully by then, this young girl will be well on her way to a full recovery.

Yes, I agree Ewe, but it's better than nothing and it shows her clearly for me. There isn't anything new on the net about her, I may email Sky to see if they can find out anymore, or I may try the local paper !

Good idea. It would be nice if we could send her parents our best wishes for her quick recovery.

Right. I emailed the press office at the hospital, now lets see if they give a reply..
You must all excuse my typos, I am off to the hospitaal on Tuesday to have the steroid injections in my wrists for the CTS .. can't wait!! Hopefully it will take away the majority of the pain and I can type again and hold the remote control for more than 1 minute!

What would we say? Perhaps that we were wondering if it would be possible/okay to send on cards to the hospital for Evie Perry to wish her a speedy recovery and to show support for her parents.

That's exactly what I asked!
~I said I wondered if little Evie Parry was still at the hospital as we on our forum would like to send a well wishing card or something similar and could this be possible?
So, hopefully they contact me back, do you want to do the same thing?
xx
I can't ring em now.. it's late, but maybe tomorrow?

Yes I'll do that too. To be honest I don't think it will be a problem. Even if we addressed them to Evie Parry and sent them care of the hospital, I'm sure they would get there.
