Joran Van Der Sloot's Lawyer Upset With Beth Holloway

Joran Van Der Sloot's lawyer is finally speaking out about Beth Holloway's visit to Castro Castro Prison. Beth had bribed her way into the prison in an attempt to get answers to why her daughter Natalee Holloway went missing nearly six years ago.

Van Der Sloot is said to have been the last person to see Natalee alive on a beach in Aruba in 2005. Beth Holloway has since been trying to extract the truth from Van Der Sloot despite his nature to give what appear to be half truths and lies.

Out of what must have been a desperate plea for closure and truth, Beth bribed her way into the jail and asked Joran to give her the details of what happened that fateful night six years ago when her daughter went missing.

Max Altez Navarro, Van Der Sloot's lawyer spoke to Radar Online about his displeasure over her actions.

"Look, Beth Holloway bribed her way into prison. She paid under the table to see my client and she acted in a crazy fashion but I understand why she did it too.

"She was only with Joran for a few minutes and he simply gave her my business card and told her 'call my lawyer' it was as simple as that."

Van Der Sloot is currently being held behind bars for the brutal murder of a Peruvian girl, Stephany Flores, who he did willingly admit to having killed.

Now, Lifetime has ordered up a sequel to 2009's film — Justice for Natalee Holloway — and Vanished with Beth Holloway, a ten-episode reality series starring Natalee Holloway's mother, Beth. It'll look at some of America's worst unsolved crimes, and Beth Holloway will offer her insight into them. She's apparently pretty good at this.

Peru seeks 30-year prison term against Van der Sloot‎

The Peruvian lawyer of Dutch murder suspect Joran van der Sloot has told populist newspaper De Telegraaf that the Public Prosecutors’ Office in the capital Lima is seeking a 30-year jail sentence against his client. The authorities have concluded their investigation into Van der Sloot’s alleged role in the death of Stephany Flores, the daughter of a well-known businessman.

In Peru the maximum penalty for murder is 20 years, but the Public Prosecutors’ Office says a more severe sentence is warranted because of the excessively cruel nature of the crime. Stephany Flores was found dead in a Lima hotel room rented in the name of Joran van der Sloot. CCTV footage from the hotel shows the Dutchman taking her up to his room.

Joran van der Sloot is still a suspect in the disappearance of US teenager Natalee Holloway who was last seen in his company on the island of Aruba in May 2005. He was arrested but eventually released due to insufficient evidence after an extensive investigation involving local, Dutch and US investigators.
