Amber Alert issued for Wilson boy, 5
Authorities issued an Amber Alert Saturday morning after a Wilson man allegedly stabbed his wife in the chest and took their 5-year-old son.
Rey Fernando Bautista Osorio, 34, is accused of stabbing his wife, Ma Natividad Piedra-Maced, 31, and then taking their son, Isaac Bautista Piedra, from 1111 Arrington Ave. sometime before 2:30 a.m.
Emergency crews took the woman to Wilson Medical Center and then flew her to Pitt Memorial Hospital, where she was in critical condition.
Osorio is believed to be driving a black 2001 Nissan Xterra with N.C. license tag YWT1422. He may be heading to Wayne County or Mexico with his son, authorities said. He also frequents Pink Hill and Albertson.
Warrants have been issued for Osorio, who faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Anyone with information about Osorio and Isaac are asked to call the Wilson Police Department immediately at 252-399-2367, or call 911 or *HP.

Missing Wilson boy found; father still sought
Authorities canceled an Amber Alert for a missing 5-year-old Wilson boy who, authorities say, was kidnapped by his father early Saturday after he stabbed the boy's mother.
Wilson police said that Isaac Bautista Piedra was found safe at his grandparents' home in Duplin County late Saturday. He was unharmed and placed into protective custody.
His father, Rey Fernando Bautista Osorio, 34, remains on the run. He might be heading to Wayne County or Mexico and is also known to frequent Pink Hill and Albertson. Authorities found a black 2001 Nissan X-Terra that he had been driving.
Police believe that Osorio stabbed his wife, Ma Natividad Piedra-Maced, 31, in the chest and then took their son from 1111 Arrington Ave. sometime before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Piedra-Maced, 31, was flown to Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville, where she was in critical condition.
Osorio took Isaac to his sister's house in Durham, and Osorio's sister took the boy to his grandparents in Duplin County.
The grandparents called police and said they had the boy, but have since been uncooperative with investigators, police said. Authorities haven't been able to get in touch with Osorio's sister.
