Circumstances: The photo in the center and the photo on the left are of Everett. He was allegedly abducted by his father, Neil Little, on October 10, 2010. A felony warrant was issued for Neil on October 14, 2010. They may be traveling in a 1997 green Chevrolet Tahoe with Florida license plates 111YVI. The vehicle may also have a 2010 Jayco trailer with Alabama license plates 38TL51A7. Neil may shave his head. He has multiple tattoos on his arms.

Help asked finding Naples man, son‎

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing father and son. Neil Thomas Little, 46, of Naples has allegedly abducted his son, Everett Thomas Little, 10, of Fort Myers. Due to the nature of the situation, detectives with the Lee County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit have assumed the investigation.

Everett is not believed to be in any immediate danger, although Neil Little does have a series of health issues that may hinder his ability to care for Everett.

A third-degree felony arrest warrant for Interfering with the custody of a child has been issued for Neil Little's arrest.

Deputies were notified of the incident Sunday when Neil Little failed to meet his ex-wife, and mother of Everett, Shannon Little, to exchange custody of their child. The two have a court ordered 50/50 custody agreement.

Naples man accused of abducting son still on the loose‎

A Naples man being sought for the alleged custodial abduction of his son may have been spotted in Alabama, Lee Sheriff’s detectives say.

Neil Thomas Little, 46, of the 900 block of NE 47th Avenue, is believed to have taken 10-year-old Everett Thomas Little, of Fort Myers last week instead of returning him to his ex-wife during a scheduled custody exchange. Little is wanted on a charge of interfering with the custody of a child, a third-degree felony.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tony Schall said Little was possibly spotted in Alabama. Schall declined to elaborate on the tip.

The agency has said that Little may have been spooked by the presence of a deputy at the custody exchange with ex-wife Shannon Little on Oct. 10. Neil Little has several outstanding warrants, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Mother awaits call that could bring her abducted 10-year-old son home

Shannon Little’s heart is tied to her telephone.

Days after the abduction of her 10-year-old boy, Everett, she awaits the call that he’s safe and is on his way home.

“Every time it rings, my heart jumps a little bit,” she said.

A national search is now on for Everett and his father, Neil Little, of Naples. Authorities say Neil Little failed to deliver the boy to a Fort Myers custody exchange with his ex-wife, Shannon Little, on Sunday.

Parental kidnapping suspect added to Most Wanted list‎

FORT MYERS: A man who allegedly abducted his 11-year-old son has been added to the Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted List.

Neil Thomas Little, 46, vanished with his son, Everett, on October 10th.

Deputies say he'd picked the boy up two days earlier for a regularly-scheduled visitation.

When he went to the home of his ex-wife, who divorced him in March, he saw a deputy and panicked - because he had learned there was a civil warrant out for his arrest because he hadn't stuck to certain stipulations in the divorce agreement.

The boy didn't show up for school at Villas Elementary the next day and hasn't been seen since.

Deputies say in the hours and days after Little took off, he had a number of phone conversations with the boy's mother, threatening to kill her and her parents if she didn't get the warrants dropped.

Authorities are also concerned about Little because he has terminal cancer, and hasn't been taking his pain medication - which may affect his ability to care for the boy.

Little's parents are reportedly deceased and there aren't any other known relatives who may be helping him take care of Everett.

Little was reportedly driving a green 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe, Florida tag 111 YVI, when he disappeared.

Investigators think he went to Alabama at some point, but now they have no trace of him.

Naples man wanted in son's abduction apprehended by US Marshals‎

Neil Little, who was wanted in Lee County for the abduction of his son Everett Little was arrested by the United States Marshals Thursday night in Wolverine, Mich.

Everett was found unharmed, according to his mother, Shannon Little.

Dad in custody for allegedly abducting son‎

The US Marshals Service announced Friday morning the arrest of Neil Little. He is charged with abducting his son. Ten year old Everett Little is in good condition and will be reunited with his mother soon.

The Marshall service says Neil Little had access to large amounts of cash and since October has been moving extensively around the country to avoid getting caught. After a lengthy investigation and many leads he was finally found in Wolverine, Michigan. It's a small town in Michigan's upper penninsula.

Abducted Fort Myers 11 year-old found safe in Michigan‎

An almost five month search for a missing Lee County boy has a happy ending half way across the country.

Everett Little was last seen at his Lee County home in October. Late last night, investigators tracked him and his father Neil Little down in Wolverine, Michigan, 1500 miles away.

WINK News talked with Little's mother Shannon as she was boarding a plane to pick up her son. She said she was ecstatic he was found alive. She worried what her husband was capable of.

Special agents tracked down Little after he left a money trail, including clearing his retirement account, and purchasing money orders.

Abducted 11 year-old and mother back at home‎

Everett Little had mixed emotions walking into his Cape Coral home for the first time in four months.

"When we got home that's when everything hit him.He said I'm sad because now I know how much you missed me," said his mother Shannon Little.

She kept the Christmas tree up, hoping her son would be home to celebrate. And they did, at 1:30 in the morning Saturday when they walked in the door.

"You wake up everyday thinking today could be the day that he comes home. It wasn't Christmas without him," said Shannon Little.

"My mom got me Legos, and an RC car, and candy," said Everett.

Shannon is excited to have her son back, but says there are a lot of emotions to death with after Everett's scary experience with his father.
