MCSO seek missing 10-year-old girl‎

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating 10-year-old Trinity Rose Gilbert, of Kingman.

Gilbert was reported missing Saturday when she failed to return home. She was last seen about 1 p.m. Saturday at her residence in the 2200 block of E. John L. Ave., in Kingman.

Gilbert is a white female, who is 4-feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 90 pounds. She has blue eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and white and gray Nike tennis shoes with one heel torn off. She may also be wearing a dark blue, long-sleeved zip-up sweater without a hood. The sweater has light blue lines that from shoulders to wrists.

.... Trinity was last seen at her residence in the 2200 block of E John L Avenue early February 12 afternoon around 1:00 pm.

Her dad reported that Trinity hadn't returned home that evening at about 6:20 pm.

Missing Kingman girl found safe

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has located 10-year-old Trinity Rose Gilbert, of Kingman, who is now safe and had been missing since Saturday.

“She was found a block away from her family’s home in an abandoned house, and seemed to have been there of her own accord. She is safe,” said Trish Carter, spokeswoman for MCSO. Gilbert was located early Tuesday evening.

MCSO hosted a press conference 1p.m. Tuesday outside the sheriff’s office in Kingman in order to cast a wider net in the search. Three television networks and three area newspapers were present at the conference.

Early in the investigation of Gilbert’s disappearance, MCSO learned the situation at hand could be a possible runaway, because in 2009 Gilbert reportedly ran away to her stepmother’s house, Carter said.

Investigations included questioning relatives and immediate family members. The questioning determined Gilbert didn’t go to her stepmother’s home or her biological mother’s home, both in Kingman.
