Circumstances:
Thao was last seen on Sunday the 11th March when she left home from the Old Trafford area in Manchester to go to Church. Police have reason to believe that Thao could be in the Greater London area or the Greater Manchester area and it is believed she may be with other members of the Vietnamese communities, any information from these communities would be welcomed. Thao is described as Slim build and was last seen wearing White Calf length boots and Blue Jeans. Thao's Foster Mother is very concerned for her wellbeing and is keen for any information even to say that Thao is alright.

Police in Manchester are becoming increasingly concerned about a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from Old Trafford where she lives since Sunday 11 March 2007.

Thao Do (born 26/06/92) of Humphrey Road, Old Trafford was last seen by her foster mother at about 8am on when she left home to go to church.

Thao was born in Vietnam but moved to Manchester two years ago. She reportedly settled in well, and was attending a local school where she has made quite a few friends. Thao sometimes likes to be referred to as Lisa.

Police also have reason to believe that Thao could be in the Greater London area.

Thao speaks English, but it is believed she may be with other members of the Vietnamese community. As such, police would particularly like to appeal to members of that community in both London and Manchester to contact them if they think they might have seen Thao, or know where she is.

When she was last seen Thao was wearing white, calf-length boots and blue jeans, but it's not clear what top she was wearing.

Detective Sergeant John Fox, from Stretford CID, said: "Thao's foster mother is really worried about her and has asked me to urge her to just get in touch and say she's ok. If anybody has seen her, or knows where she is, we would really appreciate a call, even if just to tell us Thao is alright."

Anyone who thinks they might have seen Thao, or who knows anything about her whereabouts, is asked to contact Greater Manchester Police on 0161 856 7693 or the switchboard 0161 872 5050.

No update can be found on Thao.

Thao is now missing 2 years. Can you help put posters up in Manchester or London? Transport routes are always a good option.
