Concern for missing baby
Police in Northern Ireland last night expressed concern for the welfare of a missing 17-month-old baby girl.
The baby, named Sophie, is the subject of a care order and was not returned to her carers after a visit from her mother in Banbridge yesterday. The PSNI contact number is 0845 600 8000.

Young girl missing after mother's visit in Banbridge
A baby girl is missing after she was not returned to her carers in County Down.
Sophie, who is 17 months old and is in care, was visited by her mother in Banbridge on Monday.
Mother and daughter were to attend a toddlers' group in the town, but did not do so.
Sophie's father cannot be located. Police said they were concerned for the child's welfare.
Police on both sides of the border have appealed for help in finding Sophie.
The Southern Health and Social Care Trust said it was working in partnership with the PSNI to find the child.
The Trust is appealing to anyone who has any information to contact the police on 0845 600 8000.

POLICE suspect a missing baby girl from Northern Ireland may now be in the UK with her parents.
The 17-month-old baby called Sophie is the subject of a care order and was not returned to her carers after a routine visit from her mother yesterday morning....
...Her mother is 30 years old, about 5ft 5in tall with a flushed complexion, a protruding lower lip and dark, straight hair parted in the middle. She speaks with a strong Derry accent and was wearing jeans and a grey coloured hoodie.
Her father is boyish-looking with auburn, wavy hair and a light beard.

Missing baby taken on Scotland ferry
The 17-month-old baby girl, who went missing from a Banbridge care facility after a routine visit from her mother, was taken on a ferry to Scotland, police have said.
Detectives in Banbridge said they are becoming increasingly concerned about the welfare of the toddler, called Sophie Anderson.
They have issued CCTV images of the toddler with her parents, Lucy Anderson, 30, and Stuart Creaney, 22, at the ferry terminal.
The baby girl, who is subject to a care order, was collected as normal from premises on Scarva Street in Banbridge at 10.20am on Monday morning to be taken to a mother and toddler's group.
