Jordan was last seen in Manchester City Centre on 13th August. He is described as 5'5 tall, medium build with short ginger hair and blue eyes with a scar on his brow. When Jordan was last seen he was wearing a black and grey jacket, a black and white t-shirt and black trainers.

There have been 5 unconfirmed sightings of Jordan since an appeal was made on the show a couple of days ago!!

Jordan Ratcliffe is now listed on Missing People Website!!

Somewhere along the line there has been a misprint in the spelling of his surname (Radcliffe / Ratcliffe) but it is the same missing child!!


Jordan has been missing from Manchester since 13 August 2008.

There is great concern for his safety and he is urged to call our Runaway Helpline on Freefone 0808 800 7070 for confidential advice and support.

Jordan is 5ft 5in tall, of medium build with brown eyes and ginger hair. When last seen he was wearing a black tracksuit and black trainers .

Police are making a fresh appeal to trace a missing teenager, a year on from when he was last seen.

Jordan Anthony Ratcliffe, aged 17, was dropped off on Tib Street, Manchester city centre, by a family member on 13 August 2008.

He has not been seen since; however police have received a number of unconfirmed sightings of Jordan in the city centre and Ancoats area.

Jordan is originally from the Moston area and had been living with his aunt just before he went missing.

He is described as:

•a white male
•of medium build
•5ft 5in tall
•short ginger hair
•brown eyes
Greater Manchester Police Missing Persons Coordinator, Julie Potts, said:

"An entire year has passed since Jordan was seen by his family and they, and the police, are eager to speak to him.

"I want to appeal directly to Jordan to please contact your family. I know your aunt and grandfather are sick with worry about you.

"If you don't feel you can call them please contact the police just to let us all know you are safe and well.

"A year is a long time without being in touch and a lot of time has passed so please pick up the phone and call someone.

"I would also like to hear from anyone that may have seen Jordan or knows where he may be staying to get in touch."

Gaynor Faye out again with Missing person investigator Julie Potts! She is struck by the speed and effencey of the missing persons unit when a fresh case lands on the desk!! Today they are working on the case of Jordan Ratcliffe, he has been missing since 13 August 2008!!! Jordan was abandoned by his mother when he was 20 months old, His grandfather became his guardian and has raised him since! Life was pretty normal until jordan hit his teens when he started to rebel!!! He was living in a temporary hostel in the city centre with the hope that he'd return back home to his grandad.

Julie has enlisted the help of manchester city football club to get some publicity for the case by making a special appeal for the teenager! It is a sad fact that 64% of missing people in the Greater Manchester area are tenagers!!! Julie says that if your child goes missing, if it is out of character and you have concerns that you should call the unit - Don't delay the call!!!

They later meet up with Jordan's Aunt Kimberely the last person to see Jordan to fill her in on the latest updates to do with the case. They are hoping that the new appeal brings lots of interest and someone will come forward with that vital piece of information!!
