Mother Makes An Emotional Appeal To Missing 14 year Old Daughter Rachel Dever In Strathclyde

(snippet)

Rachel Dever, who is 14, was last seen leaving her house in Erskine at 11am on Monday May 3, having had an argument with her mother.
She has not been seen since.
At a press conference in Paisley, Rachel's mother Linda McKenna said: "I am so worried about you right now, Rachel. We all want you to come home right now.
"It's all that really matters to us. It's your sister Hannah’s birthday today, and it's the only one she's ever had without you.
"Please come home. We’re not angry with you pet. We just need you to get in touch with someone and let us know you're safe - at the very least.
"If there is someone who knows anything about where she is, then please tell someone.
"It's in Rachel’s best interests that she's found."
Police believe she is still within the area and may be with a well-meaning friend, but they are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

Concern For Vulnerable Missing Girl - Erskine

Appeal for information

Chief Inspector Stewart Rorrison of Renfrew Police Office said:

“An extensive search has been ongoing and every effort is being made to trace Rachel.

“Her friends and family members have also been contacted but no one has seen her and our concern is mounting for Rachel’s safety and wellbeing.

“I would urge anyone who has seen her or knows of her whereabouts to contact Renfrew Police Office on telephone number 0141 532 6155. I would also urge Rachel to contact police or a friend to let us know that she is safe.”
