Missing Child found after 13 Years
A horrible occurrence happened in Germany where a grandmother has kidnapped her grandchild and kept the girl hidden in Great Britain for 13 years, German media report.
Brita H. (39) let her parents baby-sit her daughter Karen in Leverkusen, Germany, while she went to University in Vienna. Upon finishing her studies, Brita married and decided to collect her daughter, but the girl was no longer in Germany.
Does not want to hear from her mother
71-year-old grandmother Irene took her granddaughter to Great Britain, where they have been living under an alias. Little Karen has now graduated from university and refers to her biological grandparents as her mother and father.
She does not even wish to hear about her mother, because she has a happy life in Great Britain. The search for Karen lasted 13 long years, with many police officers and private detectives taking part.
The unfortunate mother still hopes Karen would change her mind and start communicating with her.
